Miss Fortune Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I wouldn't personally class it as business casual. It's clearly a summer dress. But if they've worn it up until now and it's been fine, I would be frustrated. It doesn't really show much cleavage regardless of the dress. 3
itshyolee Posted August 29 Posted August 29 That's giving more of a I'm-going-to-the-eras-tour look more than business casual But I understand her frustration because why is it now an issue if she's been wearing it for months now? 2 2
Radical Pessimism Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Is that you? Or you're just posting some random woman's outfit? 1

JustHoran Posted August 29 Posted August 29 That's definitely not business casual. However, there is nothing wrong with her outfit. It's seeming very sexist now that a man is in the office.
glitch Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I think if you're going to have a dress code like "business casual" you need to provide some examples of what that looks like, because it's a pretty vague term. Dress codes for work are kinda redundant now though. Unless you're working in some high end city bank or law firm, why does it matter if you're dressed casually for work if you're just going to sit in an office all day? 1
pigeon Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Put a blazer on to make it business casual. This is just a dress, no need to cover up though. I think it is already ok for a business setting

allforyou Posted August 29 Posted August 29 As others have said the attire isn't business casual but it's far from showing too much cleavage
Janet Posted August 29 Posted August 29 it's definitely business casual. casual means anything goes as long as it doesn't look unprofessional... what's unprofessional about this?

Also, she should invest in an iron.
