Short n' Sweet so far has 3 huge hits with successful music videos. It is already the bigger era.

Even though HMHAS is a better album in every way. :gaycat:

SNS in the hits department but BOAF just feels more like a classic that would stand the test of time :gaycat5:

Both albums are top 2 most streamed right now but Billie being in the top 2 so long after the album was released because she managed to get a successful global hit from it is super impressive. Both albums are doing well but I think Billie's might win the awards as SnS is "just" a good pop album with radio smashes while Billie has the bigger acclaim.

Sabrina seems to be getting a lot of attention but Billie is not far behind her, only time will tell

Billie's fans always give her projects legs and with each new album the old projects come back to life and gain in streams. Happier Than Ever is bordering triple platinum and When We All… is at seven times platinum according to HDD. I think HMHS will take it because of longevity and its album tracks are getting huge streams (see wildflower already gaining ground). Sabrina is the bigger singles artist, but unless other stuff from her album takes off I don't see it taking from Billie when all is said and done even with 3 1B+ smashes (Lunch and Chihiro will probably make it there too eventually)

Billie easily, she has the str8s and the boomers on her side. Short n sweet has no identity in comparison. It will easily be forgotten and overshadowed by her next eras

Way too early to tell

I like Billie's music a lot more

But I think that people that has hits with the GP always are more remembered in the future.

Billie has 1 (maybe 2) and Sabrina has 2 (maybe 3) so it's going to be Sabrina

HMHAS' debut was bigger than SNS with no singles and only hype plus she hasn't really done anything to push it outside of a few live performances. It's just organically been the most streamed female album weekly on Spotify since the day it dropped (and most weeks at #1 on Spotify for any 2024 release so far). And BOAF doesn't seem to be losing any steam and could overtake Espresso as time goes on.

SNS had two hit singles leading up to it, big videos, and now another one with Taste and HMHAS's debut numbers still aren't being touched (yet), which I think is a testament to how big this era's been for Billie given how little she's put herself out there.

But if SNS is still doing 20-21M streams 90+ days later like Billie than we can make a better prediction.

It's too early to tell, we will know once SNS settles down but HMHAS is having insane longevity.

Billie's album will be the longer lasting, more respected, and more "classic" album. Billie is also the more consistently successful artist, so it's safer to say that HMHAS will continue to have strong longevity and end up more iconic over the years.

Sabrina is having a huge moment and I think her HITS will likely be remembered, but I'm not yet sure if this album/era will stand the test of time. It's more of a fun boppy standard pop girl era, and those don't always have the best longevity.

No one denies that Billie it's huge but BOAF's streams are hugely powered with autoplay rn and eventually that will probable end

I don't see more songs clicking from this era

Sabrina's era has 2 massive hits and is likely about to pick up a third. She'll definitely outdo commercially.

Prefer Billie's album though and I'm sure it will enjoy strong longevity.

I feel like Billie's era has the bigger album and more critical acclaim, but Sabrinas era has the bigger hits/more hits. Billie is more likely to snag Grammys but isn't as front and center in terms of the more nebulous "pop culture moment" that Sabrina is having. I guess it feels like Billie's built an acclaimed musical era and Sabrina's built a fun, memorable pop girl moment. I think they'll both be remembered but for very very different reasons.

Billie's will be bigger, re: sales, streams, etc. But Sabrina has a hold on pop culture and the GP right now in ways that Billie had in her debut album. People outside of pop following have asked me if I heard Espresso, Please Please Please, and even Taste.

Right now, I'd say SNS is bigger because of how big its singles are and the difference between their first week sales isn't that big either. BOAF is gonna end up as big as them probably but that's all so far. However, Billie is all about longevity even when she hasn't got any hits.
