Cesar Posted August 28 Posted August 28 alot of the billionaire c*cksuckers always screaming about how they don't actually have billions of dollars they just invest in other places. So how about the billionaires that casually have $278 Billion? Is it right?
KatyPrismSpirit Posted August 28 Posted August 28 This is literally just hoarding money. No person will ever need this and a great amount of this should be redistributed into a more prosperous society… in a perfect world at least 5
pisuke Posted August 28 Posted August 28 No, not in cash and not in any other form. Even if you come up with a solution for all word's problems, nobody deserves nor needs this amount of money to live. Kill the rich NOW. 4 1
SLUTTVFTV Posted August 28 Posted August 28 imagine how many ttpd variants you could buy with that oml 9
Virgos Groove Posted August 28 Posted August 28 (edited) Absolutely not. I don't think people gauge just how much money $1B is, let alone 278. 1 million seconds is 11.6 days, 1 billion seconds is over 31 years. A fraction of that money could help so many people. Tax billionaires and nationalize their businesses. They'll survive. Edited August 28 by Virgos Groove 2 2
Popboi. Posted August 28 Posted August 28 The real question is how ethical is what you do with that kind of money 1

Bosque Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Uhm, this is the cash pile of his company Berkshire Hathaway, not his personal savings he keeps under the mattress 1
Trent W Posted August 28 Posted August 28 No, but I would place my anger more in the government and system. These people are a product of a rotten system A system that allows people to starve I also hate people who pretend growing business or building wealth is evil. It healthy as long as you are in the ethical side. It think that if the government covered people's food and basic needs, there wouldn't be a problem with billionaires The problem is that the poor are left to starve and completely on their own 1
bad guy Posted August 28 Posted August 28 That money will be reinvested into his business and isn't his personal spending fund but I think the better question is it ethical for all these billionaires to get tipped off to sell their stocks and shift their money around right before the economy coincidentally is about to crash. They are basically gaming the the economic system and are a driving force into crashing the economy so that everything (for them) becomes "cheaper" to reinvest in while 99.9% of the rest of the people deal with the consequences. And no, that isn't ethical.
ATRL Moderator Bloo Posted August 28 ATRL Moderator Posted August 28 There's no such thing as an ethical billionaire, so no.
LegaMyth Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Yes! Its his money. He's an investor. Plus, you don't know what his plan is with that money. Our governments of the world has control over trillions of dollars from our taxes. We do not get to decide where that money goes. As I sit on my computer, typing away, my government, and many other governments around the world are using our tax dollars to kill others. Also, even if he donated all his money, the world woukd still be complete s*** due to human behavior. I will not do is cry about someone else's money. What I am working towards is figuring out how to live a comfortable life, as I understand how privileged I am despite being far from wealthy.
Robert Posted August 30 Posted August 30 To put it in perspective, that is more than the entire GDP of Portugal or New Zealand. It is disgusting to hoard that much wealth.
