commander Posted August 28 Posted August 28 So which albums do you think will remain fresh in the years to come and which ones will age badly if they haven't already?
Brooklyn Baby Posted August 28 Posted August 28 The ones that I like will age well and the albums from artists I hate will age badly 10
taylamour Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Brat will continue to ferment, Cowboy Carter and TTPD need to be refrigerated after opening, Radical Optimism needs to be rinsed before consuming, and 143 is the box of baking soda that absorbed the rotten food smells for the past two years that needs to be immediately disposed of. 4
playboi Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Imaginal Disk is Dom Perignon brat is tap water from Flint, MI 1 1

Prodigal Self Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Eternal Sunshine is aging the best I'll tell you that much 1 1
GentleEarthquake Posted August 28 Posted August 28 RO and TTPD are rotting as we speak, 143 is already a pile of dust
Alldeezy Posted August 28 Posted August 28 The Necklace .. it's such a brilliant album and can see it being timeless

fememeist Posted August 28 Posted August 28 HMHAS aging like the best kimchi in the world 143 aging like the milk carton left out in a hot sunny day with mosquitoes and larvae 1
bad guy Posted August 28 Posted August 28 HMHAS, like most Billie projects, will age like the finest of wines of course. CC has a timeless feel as well regardless of its daily streams. BRAT is ahead of its time in a way. Radical Optimism has black mold all over it, but if you cut around it and just leave Houdini that's still fresh. And I feel like even Swifties can acknowledge the putrid odor coming from TTPD at this point. But unfortunately no stench is stronger than the leaking fermentation that's come from 143. 1
YourFavoriteWeapon Posted August 28 Posted August 28 HMHAS and TTPD both have aged pretty well to me (though I still think the latter has a lot of filler), but This Is Me…Now aged quicker than a cup of Activia left in humidity. I was one of the few people defending it and getting my life during release and now I only use Rebound and Broken Like Me

WWAFA already aged like the cheapest milk ever, listening to any single from that album visually cringes everyone around you (god the plants vs. zombies like instrumentals of bad guy and others, try hard aesthetics and more ) and even her best album HTE have questionable songs about longevity. idk how Billie got inserted to this thread...
AshleyLovescats887 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 'Older' by Lizzy McAlpine will always feel like an album equivalent of a classic, but nobody else knows this khia so like 'The Secret Of Us' by Gracie Abrams is most likely going to be remembered as either Gracie's step to her successful third album or Gracie's attempt at being successful, it really depends on her third album's stats 'Charm' by Clairo becomes one of the best albums of all time because Clairo shade is illegal
sickofwaitingtables Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I believe The Tortured Poets Deparment will become a cult classic in Taylor's discography and in a few years people will consider it an underated and poetically unhinged effort.

Migs Posted August 28 Posted August 28 (edited) Say what you want and RO may have rotten on the charts, but it has aged like fine wine to me. I love it and listen to it almost every day. Justice for Maria, End of an Era and These Walls. Edited August 28 by Migs
