Joyride is unique, memorable, and over-the-top  Not surprised!

A little bit, only because Katy has a record label backing her AND promoting her.

Kesha literally only has herself promoting it

I absolutely LOVE Joyride (still waiting on that video, Miss Kesha), but the constant obsession with numbers and chart success among female artists is draining the joy out of music. Right now, there's a Twitter debate where Katykats are dragging Katy for not landing a hit with her comeback single WW, leading to complaints and tantrums over any snippets she releases, like Nirvana. In the past few years, I've noticed that stans are fixated on stats and rankings instead of the actual quality of the music. It's as if people can't simply enjoy the music, the era, or the world an artist creates unless it's validated by high numbers or chart positions. Stan culture is bankrupting the pure enjoyment of music.

They're having a mid-off, I guess.

Awww the Kesha stans downvoting as usual, :chick1:

Where are Katy fans now? lol

It's embarrassing the way talked sh** about joyride and it's outperforming her faves both singles.

The fact that Joyride has no label behind it, no music video and (almost) no airplay, while the other two both have videos (one of them being high-budget) on top of Woman's World receiving a radio deal too is :ahh:.

Joyride outstreaming WW was already a kii, but WW & Lifetimes combined is insane :dies:.

Karma for Katy stans pretending for years that Kesha is some massive flop that Katy is supposedly leagues above of.

They are busy trashing Kesha, Gaga, etc. and defending Dr. L*ke :skull:.

The fact that indie artist Kesha's new single is outdoing Katy "Capitol's favorite artist" Perry's two singles is just. :bibliahh:

Indie artist Kesha's buzz return single without even a proper rollout or video
