"Wisteria" / "Candyland" sounds so amazing yet intriguing already, I keep wondering what the final mix would have been like had it made the cut for L.A.M.B. or TSE

I would commit federal crimes to hear a finished HQ version of Candyland ugh. The number of plays I've given to that YouTube video over the years...

One of my favorite Pop albums. :clap3:

the way the TVs have rlly made the idea of pulling out old album rejects, polishing them up, and putting them out there for re-releases a very mainstream, popular idea recently (hell, even the term "Vault Song") and yet NONE of these girlies wanna do it despite how many anniversary editions have been released in the last 5 or so years?? :skull: like surely it can't be THAT hard to grab 3-4 scraps from 10-20 years ago, MAYBE lay down a few new vocals, and work w producers to finalize them?? they're already being released on the condition that they weren't considered good or fitting enough for the original record, so even fans aren't expecting gold most of the time!! its esp crazy considering some of these divas otherwise havent released in years........ :deadbanana2:

anyway, whining/complaining/bitching aside...................an absolute all timer, not just as an album but as a pop ERA. few have done something like, and few ever WILL do something like it. a favorite for SURE :jonny5:

Obviously this was successful but I feel like it's one of the most underrated pop albums ever. The album just as fresh 20 years later and the 1-2-3-4-5-6 punch of WYWF/Rich Girl/Hollaback Girl/Cool/Bubble Pop Electric/Luxurious is insane. The Real Thing and Serious are great too. I feel like it's also one of the most influential pop albums of the 2000s, some of the sounds on here weren't even fully mainstream until 2007/2008. Gaga's The Fame is the most direct influence I can think of. I hope it really get its full flowers one day (same for thing for her work in No Doubt).

This album is so transcendant. All killer no filler. And the visual element of it was so next level at the time (still is honestly).
