Nefertiti0 Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Spot A Fake is described as the artist's most personal anthem to date. A press release explains that it was "inspired by moments that shook her inner circle and celebrates self-worth, authenticity and the resilience to move forward." 1

And, looking at the song's credits she did it without Cirkut, Madison Love, or any samples -- is that right?? @Totami Legend ' Edited September 20, 2024 by Reginald 8
atrl lives matter Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 (edited) People complaining about her samples as if Taylor and Beyonce don't just straight up steal and plagarize lmao. I have to laugh, at least Ava gives credits. Edited September 20, 2024 by atrl lives matter 3 1
Andrew The Nerd Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 I listened to it. I Like It! But it really feels like Hevean & Hell, like OMG whats Happening meets Kings & Queens. Still a BOP. 1

I have to laugh, at least Ava gives credits. This is the most annoying thing. She's got like 12 samples in her discography. I see this criticized mostly on Gaga Daily, so I'm going to use Gaga as an example (love her no shade) -- but Gaga has 42. If Ava continues at the rate she does with samples. That's about roughly 6 samples per album. she'd have 6 less than Gaga when she reaches AM7. Like... producers sample music. That's very common. It's not as common for Ava's songs as people like to pretend it is, though. 3 1
