its doing pretty well on itunes, its at #8 at itunes worldwide already. the music video is also set for 1M+ in 24 hours. we'll see how it goes on spotify.

I kinda think if this was a Doja x Doechii track this would be a top 10 hit. Luke's production on Katy's vocals on every song has been terrible. She sounds so robotic and like every line was recorded separately and not mixed together right.

I've been signing the song the whole day, the video is cool and I hope that finally this kinda becomes a minor hit for her.

 

The video has 819k views in 17h so maybe it can reach 1M in the first day.

 

Also it's been kinda stable on iTunes at least, I feel like it will do better than Lifetimes.

I noticed that. I don't think its autotune, but it sounds like they placed a vocoder effect on it, but the mixing sounds like that I assume because there is alot more reverb? I can barely hear the 808 bassline.

I felt like Dr. Luke strayed away from his pop formula since 2019. The final chorus of Im His just sounds empty, like he could have added more instrumentation to the song.
