Then it will be released in US with music video coming in 7 hours. Yes, because it will be midnight in US. us has like 6 different midnights lol so the mv is dropping midnight et? i wonder why it isn't dropping in 1h (aka same time as ww and lifetimes dropped) 1
OrgVisual Posted September 12 Posted September 12 The fact that everything and anything is better than Woman's Bomb 1
FabForAThrowback Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Omg I've just heard it and I love it, like it's probably my favorite so far! I agree that the part of Doechii is so Doja coded because of similar voice/rapping. Idk but I also really like Katy's verse. For sure an earworm
LionH3art Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Okay I take it back, this is the best single so far. Mostly because it sounds like a full song with more variation than WW and Lifetimes! 1
XxxKatyCatxxX Posted September 12 Posted September 12 A bop! Their voices complement each other perfectly.
Mark Rih Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Bad and cheap but also kind of a bop at the same time the sample is tired. It should've been more subtle.. a shame because I feel there was potential, they both sound great 1
Princess Aurora Posted September 12 Posted September 12 (edited) The Gyspy Woman sample is chewing. Now Imagine If this single came out in 2017 instead of Witness Edited September 12 by Princess Aurora 1
TheDreamer Posted September 12 Posted September 12 The way she would have been in a slightly better trajectory had she not released Woman's World That song really cost her comeback. Perched for the video!
Truth Teller Posted September 12 Posted September 12 24 minutes ago, OrgVisual said: The fact that everything and anything is better than Woman's Bomb I am a Woman's World defender but all bias aside, WW is the only song that would work as a lead. There's something very anticlimactic and tumbleweedy about the other songs and they would probably be completely ignored and treated like Rita Ora singles after the first week
El Nino Posted September 12 Posted September 12 The fake lesbianism is tired and through to quote Khia. I can't believe people are still gay baiting to such degrees in a time of self-awareness and progressiveness.
rivingtonrebel Posted September 12 Posted September 12 I really tried to like the song but this goes nowhere. Plus someone who said this song sounds like the Dress to Impress background music ruined it for me I loved Lifetimes more but I hope this becomes a hit for her somehow. 1
OrgVisual Posted September 12 Posted September 12 This was my least favourite snippet but the replay value is much higher than the other two The chorus is not as strong but it's an earworm; and the main thing is the song feels much more fleshed out and completed. There are different elements throughout the whole song - Doechii's rap part and 2nd verse, the beat change in the 2nd half... that keeps you hooked
despy Posted September 12 Posted September 12 easily washes the previous singles. if only the hook was stronger & the tempo was faster...
Mocha Posted September 12 Posted September 12 i like it lol. Doechii was a great choice for this, W katy

Submitting to a man? Lmao, OKHs are truly dumb. The song is about flaunting her man to the other girls and how she takes control of her man 1
Bubble Tea Posted September 12 Posted September 12 This is such a bop. I'm sorry but this is a legendary Katy era The songs and performances and videos have been SLAPPING! Yeah "Women's World" was a bit meh but it was hardly as bad as y'all want to pretend, still a catchy funky bop. "I'm His, He's Mine" phew!! 19 minutes ago, SpaceOddity said: Singing a song about submitting to a man and his desires while rubbing and scissoring with another woman for a male gazey performance AND having the camera pan in on the husband for a "ohmygodshescrazy!!!!!!" moment is what's "lesbiophobic". It was for the lesbian gaze actually. These tiresome flashbacks to media and film 101 with the male gaze discourse 2

These tiresome flashbacks to media and film 101 with the male gaze discourse A. The subtext is all there. B. Still ABOUT A MAN so why was any of that needed? That's what I meant by weird above, especially given Katy's history of using girl on girl action as a quirky shtick. C. Thank god, the lesbians didn't give a ****, as opposed to the performance of an actual lesbian from the same night. Anyhow, I'm not going to spend any more time explaining how that performance was very obviously straight up queerbaiting for no reason to people who seem to have made it their life decision to defend her questionable behavior this entire era. 1 1
PopMusicJunkie Posted September 12 Posted September 12 This track was always the best one out of all the snippets. I never understood most of y'all saying otherwise. 2
BlueBlue Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Should be a lead honestly. It's diffriend from her previous work. It's very catchy. If Luke would give that to Doja because it sounds like from Planet Her it would went #1 but it's Katheryn so it won't be that easy. Well even if it bombs again it's a BOP. We love her AGAIN
