I don't think DWAS (not it having the same acronym as Sam Smith's Dancing With a Stranger Lolol) was ever close to #1 last week sadly. It exploded harder than expected in its 1st week but Bar Song was always the #1 last week.

DWAS is giving me eventual #1 vibes. I feel like Sabrina or Shaboozey has this current week on lock with A Bar Song, Espresso or Taste (idk which out of those 3). But I foresee DWAS eventually climbing above.

Hopefully DWAS will peak at #1 and stay there forever :clap3:

Yes Gaga, yes hits. :clap3: Funny how if this had been a #3 debut on the Bubbling Under chart, this topic would've been 20 pages long by now. :foxaylove2:

At least half of the Top 10 are with women now.

  • Die With A Smile
  • Birds Of A Feather
  • Good Luck, Babe!
  • Espresso
  • Please Please Please

And with Sabrina's Taste coming in next week, we will get 6 songs from 4 different female artists. It's a woman's world. :clap3:

:clap3:

Congrats Mr. Mars and Ms. Gaga.

Great debut for DWAS! :clap3: I was the first to admit that the song wasn't groundbreaking and that the lyrics were a bit cheesy, but that doesn't take away from it being a perfect duet, with beautiful harmonies and touches of soft-rock ballad. I don't want to sound elitist, but I think it's quite impressive that they managed to create a four minutes song like this nowadays, with charts dominated by TikTok fast-food hits, and still achieve commercial success. DWAS could even have longevity if the GP links it up with JFÀD once the film is released

This is exactly the type of song anyone would expect from Bruno Mars who has hardly ever flopped.

Leave the Door Open is a very similar vibe and went #1. Bruno does well with this sound

For a moment I thought this was a gif from the video.  :deadbanana2:

But I believe it's a "dance" from a random Dua performance  :dies:

He overperformed expectations. :clap3:Hopefully Sabrina manages to do the same.

Also 5.5M units for 'TTPD' next week. :jonny2: The way it's going to reach 6M units quite a bit before its first anniversary. :deadbanana2:

If only we could combine TTPD's sales with Dangerous's &/ OTAAT's SEA & TEA. Then the 2020s would get a Diamond album of its own. Unfortunately right now I don't see any albums released after 25 going Diamond.

Also, in the past, BB would tell us when the race for #1 was close just how close the battle turned out to be. TOTC estimates a 332 tie so I had hoped for a BB breakdown of exactly what happened & how ABS pulled it out over IHSH.
