Bubble Tea Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Charli and Lorde collaborating, especially on a song so completely about their issues, was pretty major. I know a lot of women singer/songwriters have expressed similar thoughts about Lorde, like they love her but I guess they're envious that she really her huge career right off the bat at age 16, and no struggle, and so talented. I remember Bonnie McMee saying how she wished she'd written "royals." She also commented that she felt called out by the song "Teams" cause Lorde has that lyrics "I'm kinda over getting told to throw my hands up in the air, so there." And Bonnie had of course written Taio Cruz's iconic club banger "Dynamite" with the chorus "i throw my hands up in the air sometimes saying a-yo, gotta let go." (Which Bonnie said was actually about surrending herself to god) 4 1

Bitter Aging Twink Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Heidi Montag's 2010 album track I'll Do It going platinum and racking up over 100 million streams nearly 15 years after its initial release is the biggest pop culture moment in history. A true full circle moment. Mother even predicted this moment back in 2010 when releasing this album cover with multiple full circles on it. A visionary. 6
