Aguilera. It's the way they just threw it out.

Happier than Ever pre-release, bless title track and the tour for fixing that mess

Bionic tbh. The single choices were bad, the visuals weren't particularly interesting, and in hindsight aside from a few stan memes, watching Xtina's downfall wasn't very entertaining. 143 on the other hand... :fan:

Sorry to quote myself but usually three part EP releases are a mess. I get the idea of drip feeding content but the eras just feel like they take ages and often the excitement is gone by EP 2. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for a full album and not EPs. A better way to drip feed content is by releasing singles before and after the album drop with videos. Give us an era with a full length body of work please.

Dopamine.

On a side note, I don't like Katy but it's unfair to say 3.14 had a "botched" album rollout. The album isn't out yet for us to arrive at this conclusion. Objectively speaking, she's managed to release multiple singles and stick to the original release date. While it's not serving numbers in my eyes, it's not necessarily a bad rollout. It's just mundane and uneventful.

Kilroy Was Here, despite its big hit, is the epitome of a messy ass rollout..

The problem with Katy's 143 is not the rollout, it's the music. They even rush the 2nd single and stuff, so they're actually trying...

Normani's is a good example of it, the long ass time between the singles and then dropping the album with nothing to back it up, same for other girls who don't even try with the albums.

Joanne Shaw Taylor with her latest album "Heavy Soul". She released every Song months before the Album came out.

I've never seen anything as terrible as Normani's 'DOPAMINE' rollout, honestly.

Worrying, shaky start of 143 comes to mind

Carrie Underwood's latest album. They did no promo, released a generic lead single, didn't even send it for reviews (it's not even on Metacritic :rip: ), and it was like a 90% sales drop from her previous album :rip:

I don't think anyone knows it even came out.

Not the worst probably but some truly bad rollouts:

Ellie Goulding's Delirium

Demi's Holy **** & Dancing with the Devil

Wait how could I forget the DWTD era. The CookieGate fiasco that happened during that era was so iconic; didn't the thread on here have over 200 pages? :deadbanana2:

Britney Jean. The album itself was already bad, but the promo (if we can call that promo) was even more. Random interviews focusing solely on the Vegas residency, not a single performance, a cheap documentary for MTV and the Perfume music video fiasco. Everything went catastrophically wrong and fans (myself included) were PISSED. Today, I understand everything because there was a lot of **** happening in the background, but even so. She was coming from a successful era with 3 top 10 hits on the Billboard charts (a first in her career) and they dropped the ball soooooooo bad.

Ava Max's Diamonds and Dancefloors. The album rollout was a mess due to technical issues with the label and the album listening party too. She left her fans alone :skull:

Normani was put through the ringer trying to get Dopamine out.

Solar Power. I mean whatever you think about the quality of the album, the roll out was a bit of a nightmare from the leaks, the clowning, the CD less box, the panning, the poor commercial performance etc. All after a 4 year wait.
