if you think that for the vast majority of these self professed leftists that this cause is anything more than a trend to temporarily satiate their desire for moral superiority like they did with blm and ukraine then you're delulu. i support a ceasefire but actively campaigning against the democratic party in an election year when there is a very real threat to american democracy isn't the way to go about it, especially when trump winning would be even worse for palestine. these people are just too chronically online to look up from their phones and see the fascism on their own doorstep

As clearly articulated above (maybe you missed it, maybe you couldn't comprehend it), the protestors are not just asking for "supporting a ceasefire", they're asking for an actual ceasefire - which the US can only achieve by enforcing an arms embargo on Israel.

 

Supporting a ceasefire doesn't mean ****, saying you're working tirelessly for a ceasefire doesn't mean ****, when you're actively supplying billions of dollars in weapons that are being used to facilitate the Biden/Harris genocide. 

 

Why should I leave you alone when you openly support (and invalidate criticism of) a candidate who is literally paying for and facilitating the mass murder of my people?
