So close yet so far from a Diamond certification :jonny5:

X's debut should be 11x Platinum right now. I'm guessing they're waiting to announce Diamond status on a special date.

How is it not Diamond yet?!!

Aren't it's pure sales already 9.2 million with BMG ...

why is it not diamond yet? it was almost 10M in pure sales in the US wasnt it??

WAIT

her debut album was such a ginormous in the US

because how did it have many smash singles while the album is doing 8x platinum??

because usually you'll have 1 big selling single ito have a big selling album, the following singles are not sold separately during early 2000's isnt it?

I wonder how much streams it would need for it to reach the Diamond threshold

24 years to scan a Platinum certification. :rip:  I really doubt it's not a Diamond.

OMG I just checked and realized the last certification of the album was in 2000. WTF! Thought it was updated just a few years ago or something like that

:clap3: Genie must be eligible for more though, right? 3x plat seems low for the song it is and the time that has passed since release.

Also, does anyone know how much is Stripped eligible for? Like diamond?

It got certified for 5xPlat on October 2022, I think they might try to re-certify every 5 years or so, but idk how much it would take for it to scan 6xPlat

The album sold 8.3 million copies through SoundScan and 935,000 through BMG clubs, totaling roughly 9.3 million sold. This doesn't includes stores that weren't tracked through Soundscan, along with other music clubs, streaming, TEA, etc. This has to be Diamond?! And I don't even like the album lol, just doesn't make sense.

Doesn't add up at all. There's no way this only went from 8x to 9x in 14 years. No way.
