Sugar-Rush Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Original Doll for sure. Mona Lisa was terrible imho. The fact that Brit wanted that as the lead single off the album was a choice indeed. Also ARTPOP Act 2 or whatever that project was called. We don't need a bunch of rejected ARTPOP songs; they must've been scrapped for good reason. 1
Stepfon Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Most of the songs Hilary Duff recorded during her "folk" era sound for BI.BO.
Shoful Posted August 21 Posted August 21 The DWUW music video. Thank ******* god. Would've ended her career now. ACT II should've been released tho

The music she recorded for OD wasn't as good as either project and would've been a stain on her discography. People only want that album because of her personal life at the time but blackout is MILES better than Mona Lisa and those other songs The main thing with Original Doll is that it seems like the lyrical content and subject matters are better than the music itself. The Mona Lisa demo she played at that one radio show (Genuinely can't remember which one) and Rebellion were ROUGH, but the storytelling was so interesting. I 100% agree that Blackout sounds much better, but I think the fascination comes from the content/lyrics rather than the music itself. I would probably listen to it a couple times because I'm very curious, but never as much as I listened to Blackout.
