KillingYourCareer Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Think about it, you guys. Calling Lady Gaga a Queen makes no sense. Royalty members are there not for their own merits, but thanks to their bloodline. They didn't earn it--it was pure luck. I find that term insulting for Lady Gaga, a TABS-endowed, hard-working artist that the public actively chose as their favorite hitmaker since her debut in 2008. Be it with dance smashes, empowerment anthems or ballads, be it for weddings, graduations or funerals, her music always resonates with the GP, who sent her to #1 across three different decades and who's been making sure no tickets remain unsold at her concerts. It's like there's been a democratic election, with the ballot asking: "Who do you want to elect as the President of Pop?", and Lady Gaga earned the most votes, resulting in a resounding victory for her, for good taste, for common sense, and most importantly, for us. I shall add that the term Goddess of Pop is also accepted for Gaga, as a deity is an entity that people willingly choose to believe in and follow. Someone to look up to in moments of difficulty and joy, someone who selflessly infuses strength, and someone whose impact is timeless. inescapable and undeniable. That's Lady Gaga for you. 6 4 3 1
truthteller Posted August 21 Posted August 21 id call her the Nature of Pop, the Earthquake of Pop, the Tsunami of Pop, the Hurricane of Pop 1 1 3
Namiskine Posted August 21 Posted August 21 What do you mean 'of pop'? She's the President of the whole Entertainment Industry 1 1
Heldenzeit Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Nose of pop because she always nose what's the next big thing 4
Kayseri Mantisi Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Honestly, President or Goddess is still too limiting for someone like GaGa. She has transcended all that. Using the term elected is kinda degrading here, she's not just elected by us, she's like cosmically appointed. Something like Universal Overlord of Pop, High Priestess of Pop or Extraterrestrial Music Maker etc. would be more fitting... 3 2
frankvert Posted August 21 Posted August 21 She's the BLASTOISE, CHARIZARD, and VENUSAUR of POP all in one 4

prézli Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Isn't that Justin Timberlake? Or since he's a certified flop, he's no longer.

Space Cowboy Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Yet she's unable to achieve solo hits. She has to collab with far more popular artists than her like Ariana or Bruno to get a hit. 1 2

The other artists are the generous ones: providing Gaga with hits that she wouldn't get otherwise, given her diminishing relevance with the general public in 2024. She's so fortunate that Bruno, Ariana, and Bradley decided to do some charity 1
Comedor Posted August 21 Posted August 21 If she's the president , then who's vice president? Ariana? Blackpink? Bruno Mars? 1
