Popular Post Erreur2 La Nature Posted August 21 Popular Post Posted August 21 Most songs do around 20 weeks and go recurrent. It's pretty normal actually it just means it was a hit, not a smash. 23 weeks is more than respectable. 17 2
Gossip_Boy Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I like the album, but the era just came and went in US. It's doing a lot better internationally tho, so there's that. 2 1
Flanders Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Love her but this song definitely won't be remembered imho Not much memorable about it and for sure doesn't stand out in her catalogue 2 1 2
georgechxng Posted August 21 Posted August 21 nothing really. one of her signature songs globally and def one of the biggest smashes of the year her team pulling it out of radio killed it chances at a good charting run on the US tho. 3 1
Bosque Posted August 21 Posted August 21 It's a great song but doesn't really sound like a future staple imo. 23 weeks seems adequate.
Peak Now Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Ariana's singles have never had good longevity so this is expected tbh
Polgg48 Posted August 21 Posted August 21 yeah they move on too quick to DOA boy is mine with DUD features when this is her future classic staple. fumble a bit but two number one from album why not? 1 1
Brikenbur Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Nothing, Smiley. It was a hit. How did you sleep last night mama because you could use a few more hours.
DawnAnti Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Her team pulled it from radio and her ass is way too arrogant to promote it so deserved but either ways the song is a global hit

Badgalbriel Posted August 21 Posted August 21 The era is dead, tbh Her last lasting era was Dangerous Woman, tbh. 2 1
OnlyManInTheWorld Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I'm shocked The boy is mine didn't click with the GP. It was such a streaming hit after the album release. 1

I think tiktok removing all that music just after her album dropped ruined that song's chances. By the time her music was back up it was too late. But the sound was pretty popular initially. Girlie acting like her album doesn't exist outside of that one TBIM performance on Jimmy Fallon doesn't help either 6
Wonderland Posted August 21 Posted August 21 The dramatics It's a #1 song that charted for over 5 months. Most stans would kill for their fave to have that kind of success. 8 1
Twizzy Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Some of these replies are showing their age because 20 weeks is not normal anymore in today's music climate, maybe in 2011. Even albums fifth singles spend 35 weeks at times (Get Into It Yuh and Feather, 37 weeks each). Regardless, the reason those two spent so much was because of radio longevity, and radio treats Ari horribly. I have no idea why WCBF was dropped, it had excellent callouts and they should not have been in such a rush to move TBIM to pop radio when it had rhythmic building. Can Republic not manage two simultaneous singles or what? Benson's Beautiful Things has been gaining nearly the same amount of sales and streams as WCBF but its performing excellently thanks to radio staying on board 2
Rabbit Posted August 21 Posted August 21 The second most streamed female song of the year more than any taylor, beyonce, billie, dua, charli song btw 8 1
