Lagerfeld Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I keep seeing massive massive tweets praising X-Tina, her Ozempic, her looks, and new vocals. Could she make a grand comeback if she plays her cards right? 1
ChooseyLover Posted August 21 Posted August 21 It kinda rubs me the wrong way how many of these tweets, although being positive about how beautiful she is, are most of the time focused on her appearance and dissecting the work she has or hasn't got done... Like can we focus on something else? She's a powerhouse vocalist and has achieved a lot and has been involved in many humanitarian causes. Maybe not much has changed compared to all the misogyny she had to endure in the noughties. That being said, I hope a comeback happens soon and the world embraces her again as she always deserved to be embraced. 7
Bosque Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Sounds like the perfect time to drop a perfume, disappear from the public eye, and surprise release a Spanish album in 2027 9
attention Posted August 21 Posted August 21 it comes down to the material and how much her/team wants to campaign it. girlie says she doesn't even want to tour the documentary has been in the works for a few years now so maybe it'll coincide with the next album, and bringing an audience in via streaming service 4
glitch Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Not viral tweets being a sign of someone having an imminent comeback. Did we learn nothing from Katy Perry?
Sugar-Rush Posted August 21 Posted August 21 We've seen this pattern before where the GP start loving her again like after The Voice and MLJ, then she releases a new project on her own and the GP's support vanishes. It's a bit unfortunate that most of the viral tweets are about her appearance than her music or vocal talent though. Says a lot about society. 4
SinnerCity Posted August 21 Posted August 21 It's really sad that an artist's comeback depends on how young they look thanks to weight-loss supplements and Botox/face-lift rather than the artistry they can present. Also, I don't really think she has plans for new music anytime soon, not after changing labels so recently anyway. 2
HardBambi Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I sure hope for a comeback (also if that happens somebody will sure be jealous)

Normani isn't an established artisté either. XS-tina has a chance If she gives Genie 2.0.
Assassin Posted August 21 Posted August 21 (edited) People still ain't buying her new albums she releases. Edited August 21 by Assassin
dumbsparce Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Interest in new Xtina music is as small as her waist and it'll be gone anyway once she drops another atrocious lead. 2
Erreur2 La Nature Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Surely the 70k likes are going to translate into sales. Her next era is gonna be insanely successful I can feel it
Rune Posted August 21 Posted August 21 You believe the GP is checking for Christina Aguilera in 2024 because of some tweets praising her looks?
Mupps Posted August 21 Posted August 21 She looks so good, honestly the only celeb who pulled ozempic off. Maybe it's the ozempic + facelift combo. I don't see why she couldn't have a comeback with the right material.
elevate Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I think Roc will pair her with one of their artists, probably Megan, for the first single whenever their docs drop. Then Megan will do all the promo work and Christina will promote the song for one week and get back to building her Animal Crossing town with Summer. That said, I hope it invites younger listeners who don't know her well to go through her back catalogue like I did. I can see several songs from Stripped esp that could go viral on Tiktok but haven't yet. I know GIAB and WAGW are popular, but that fits into that whole 90s nostalgia vibe, which is more general.
Kayseri Mantisi Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Katy Perry was also viral time after time and her comeback was imminent 3

TouchinFree Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Unfortunately, Viral tweets do not necessarily translate onto subjective success. Having said that, Anyone can have a great comeback if they'd wanted including Xtina. But I'm honestly unsure as Xtina and some of her peers just don't have that same fire within them as when they were younger. 1
