Is your Fav's description accurate?

IMG-2040.jpg

thank you @Virgos Groove for the explanation:

"The political compass is a(n extremely imperfect) way of measuring where someone stands on the political spectrum. The east-west axis stands for economic policy (East = Socialist, West = Capitalist), while the north-south one refers to social policy and general approach to power (North = Authoritarian, South = Libertarian)."

I say it's imperfect because "authoritarian" is an extremely vague term. Constitutionally banning a fascist party that attempted a coup and illegally arresting your entire political opposition can both be considered "authoritarian" measures, but are obviously very different approaches to power.
