Trent W Posted August 20 Posted August 20 I love her and the branding looks great But this is not a very good look overall For staters most people on their 30s or younger are not drinking anymore The idea of clubbing, drinking and partying is very 2010s and in the past I think the idea of having an alcohol brand is outdated and it looks old now 5 1 1

Calypso Posted August 20 Posted August 20 That's what she meant by "Davis in my bones".... Davis is her grandfather's name and this whiskey was cooking. Well...

Partying has never been as in as it is right now. Except of instead of fancy exclusive clubs it's raves and instead of alcohol it's drugs. 1 1
SoJro101 Posted August 20 Posted August 20 I actually LOVE this! Very on brand for Bey - it's also the first American spirits brand LVMH has launched/built rather than acquiring like they did with Jay. 1

Hard seltzer, canned cocktails & IPAs have all been increasing in sales in the past few years. Guinness especially has had extreme growth in the past 2/3 years. Young people aren't binge drinking to the same extent they were 20 years ago (though that's still happening in clubs.....trust) - but speciality cocktails, aperol spritz & boozy brunch events are more popular then ever; the market is different but it's definitely still there. Whiskey has never been a drink that's been marketed at young people much (outside of Jack Daniel's) & has certainly been losing sales to tequila's growth recently, but there'll always be a market for it and Beyoncé probably chose it because she enjoys it + there's a family history there. You can get a 70CL bottle for £56 here. Save it for the premiere of the visuals! 1

Honestly I think we are all just living in a different reality All the people around me( late 20s and early 30s) are drinking to the minimal or not drinking at all My algorithms are just report after report of people quitting alcohol, alcohol being cancerous etc etc Same with clubbing, it's dying etc etc 1

And by the time you hit mid-30s, your friends who are still drinking like this are officially alcoholics. It's sad realizing and witnessing this. 2 4
