I can create some bots right now and run up streams if I wanted to or do coordinated streaming sessions on several streaming platforms at the same time. That seems like a lot more effort than buying 10 copies of something. Buying is normal level of stanning. You have to be unhinged to put a bot on a streaming farm

It's based on tradition/history and is a display of the political scene of the industry. American culture care more about the future than the past. In other words, nothing can secure that nothing can replace BB if they keep losing their credibility. I'd say that 10 - 20 years ago, BB Hot 100 was the only chart that music fans cared about. But right now, Spotify charts have gained significant attention not only among music fans but also among GP. Aside from the bots (which are rare cases), i reflect the popularity of music more accurately than BB Hot 100. Taking Birds of A Feather as an example, the song has been insanely popular for months but due to lacks of radio support (which we all know why), it was struggling to stay in the Top 10 for months. Do you think Hot 100 reflect accurate popularity for Birds? (i mean before it was finally picked up by radio). And not to mention that their all-time charts suck hard.
