If Katy decided to do the 90s inspired acoustic rock album that I've been praying for then sure, she'd do well with Die with a Smile, especially considering how she's Bruno's most natural collaborator.

Gaga co-wrote the song so are we removing that too cos a lot of aspects of it are very typical of the way she writes music? It's a total mix of Gaga and Bruno's writing style. Let's say we ignore that and it's just the same song, one of it's biggest selling point is the vocal harmonies. I'm not attacking Katy as a vocalist by saying this but this sort of music doesn't really play to her strengths vocally. I don't think it would work as well. Katy and Bruno also have small fanbases and Katy isn't commercially successful so it would entirely be relying on Bruno's appeal when it comes to radio and the GP. So no I don't think it would work, it would probably do better than lifetimes though.
