Soda Pop Queen Posted August 19 Posted August 19 What I wanna know is why are all these white people, vast majority of them not even Southern, coming to the South to be wedded on plantations? Surely, they can find land/venues elsewhere? They're all trash. 3 2
Sugar-Rush Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Male privilege tbh. He also rarely gets dragged for that video of him singing the n-word for instance, outside of stan Twitter once in a blue moon, and only when it's convenient for them. 1

Selena gave her instagram to BLM activists, she donated for the movement and the n word was only when she was acting, she skipped the word when they asked to say the song n in Paris (in real life) btw. Justin said it on purpose multiple times and so did his wife Hailey literally distanced herself from her own father and family because they're conservatives 1 1
piotrert Posted August 19 Posted August 19 this just proves that no one gives a **** about any of these topics, they are just hiding behind 'high values' to drag people they hate. this blake drama is dumbest in a while. idc about her nor this movie (happy for my tears ricochet though ) but there is nothing productive in this discourse, just dog piling. no one cares about domestic violence but everyone pretends to have moral high ground 1 2

It's too ingrained in their way of thinking and what the OP shared is just another prime example and proof of this. Edited August 19 by ChooseyLover

I mean Hailey's group of friends is basically 90% black people while she was raised in a white conservative family, and I won't even start about Justin's horrible family. Hopefully they distanced themselves because they know better now, I still believe Justin is a pretty ignorant person overall while I think Hailey is a bit smarter.

That is how it always works against marginalized groups: The larger majority bullies the small minority for being sensitive. They think they should be allowed to make jokes at the expense of the little guy.
