What I wanna know is why are all these white people, vast majority of them not even Southern, coming to the South to be wedded on plantations? Surely, they can find land/venues elsewhere? They're all trash.

I've noticed there are many celebs trying their best to distance themselves from their conservative and bigoted upbringing, either because they really mean it or because it's the best thing for their image and to fit in in Hollywood, but it never really goes away. It's too ingrained in their way of thinking and what the OP shared is just another prime example and proof of this.

I mean Hailey's group of friends is basically 90% black people while she was raised in a white conservative family, and I won't even start about Justin's horrible family. Hopefully they distanced themselves because they know better now, I still believe Justin is a pretty ignorant person overall while I think Hailey is a bit smarter.

Black people care, but the overall majority do not see the problem with racism because it isn't a big deal to them. That is how it always works against marginalized groups: The larger majority bullies the small minority for being sensitive. They think they should be allowed to make jokes at the expense of the little guy.
