MattieB Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Hes not the odd one out, its a terrible, bland, and beige song, much like gagas discography for the past ten years 3 10
Reginald Posted August 18 Posted August 18 (edited) It's okay not to like BalladGa anymore, he made a few points. Just like with Sweet Sounds of Heaven and Hold My Hand, I gave it a couple of listens, decided it has no place in my library, and moved on. Whenever GaR decides to release that automotive-industrial-metal-jazz album inspired by Nine Inch Nails, Manson, and Depeche Mode, I'll have it on constant repeat. Edited August 18 by Reginald 5
State of Grace. Posted August 18 Posted August 18 He didn't necessarily lie? I think the song is cute, but it's also a safe generic classic love ballad that would fit in Silk Sonic's last album and it doesn't really have Shallow/ARUTW's charm. And that's fine. It is funny how he panned Shallow and BTW and now he switched on both and wants more experimental stuff from her though nn. 6
Kimi Posted August 18 Posted August 18 like others said its not for him, its for his divorced mom, they have feelings too. lg7 is coming, nerds will get what they need. 1

Flanders Posted August 18 Posted August 18 I like the song, but have to agree it's quite middle of the road. A smart release in any case excited for the joker soundtrack
Aqua Posted August 18 Posted August 18 He literally didn't lie. The song is an absolute snoozefest. 3 3
MerveAksak Posted August 18 Posted August 18 I just know whenever Fantano would pan one of your fave's releases in the future you'd be saying he's biased or knows nothing about music. But since he's criticising Gaga, you all consider him the most trustworthy critic. Make it make sense 2
Ethereaaal Posted August 18 Posted August 18 (edited) Well, as long almost everyone else seems to think otherwise, we really don't care Not everything has to be experimental. Nobody wants a hyperpop'd experimental version of such a duet love song. That expectation should be for LG7, not a love ballad duet with Bruno Edited August 18 by Ethereaaal

mrhraefn Posted August 18 Posted August 18 DWAS is a cute ballad with great vocals at the bare minimum. Haters Gon hate and will back him up. Let's just move on and not give him the attention that he craves.

Let's not, girl. Born this way is one her most radio friendly songs tho? Edited August 18 by burninredhot
By the Water Posted August 18 Posted August 18 I didn't like the song but if the bald man doesn't like it then maybe I should give it another chance 1 1 1
Infernal Paradise Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Give it a few years he will switch on this too like he has in the past Some people already dragging him under the comments of his IG post
blondeskinnyrich Posted August 18 Posted August 18 I hate how you all can't just let others have different opinions than yours... 1
Dante Silva Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Thank f**k even basic gays are finally waking up to his true agenda. Can someone deprive him of all food sources already?

Mikeymoonshine Posted August 18 Posted August 18 It's not that he's wrong it's just he's like missing the point. It's not going for experimental it's a love ballad and the focus is the vocals. It's not my favourite Gaga song either it's cute for what it is but I just don't see how it failed at what it was trying to do? I'm happy for Fantano to have his own opinions but that doesn't mean his reviews are beyond criticism either. He panned Shallow/never said anything positive about ASIB and now he's using ASIB as an example of how this song could have been better. He panned BTW giving it a troll review and is now wishing Gaga would be more experimental. It's just not very good critique lol. 2 1
