Brooklyn Baby Posted August 17 Posted August 17 I've been doing it for almost a year now and the benefits have been amazing. Have you tried intermittent fasting? How have your experiences been? 1
Wicked Posted August 17 Posted August 17 I was hospitalized for 2 days last year because of it setting off a chain reaction to me finding out I have a syndrome related to how much salt I have in my body

BOOMBAYAH Posted August 17 Posted August 17 I think if you're disciplined enough you don't need to fast. For most people, losing weight comes down to a calorie deficit. If you can easily stay within your calorie limit, fasting isn't necessary. However, if you struggle with this, fasting can be a helpful tool. 1
єѕℓαм Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Yup for five years now and it's life changing not only do i look great but also feel even better 3
ultraviolence.xx Posted August 17 Posted August 17 pretty much every day for about 8 years! works great for me personally 2
Gladiator Posted August 17 Posted August 17 (edited) That's just how my appetite works out anyway. I've always eaten like that regardless of if I am cutting or bulking or existing. I do have an occasional day where I break from that. Edited August 17 by Gladiator
JoeAg Posted August 18 Posted August 18 it's tough for me to really figure out something perfect because I love lifting, I have had a fast metabolism my whole life (I'm also only 5'6), I take vyvanse for my ADHD, and whenever I gain weight it is ONLY in my tummy area. it's been hard whenever i've tried to bulk because my metabolism just does NOT want to be overtaken lol to add onto THAT, I work overnight shifts. so idk how this would truly work for me I'd try intermittent fasting, but I also don't want to stop taking vyvanse and I also don't want to interrupt my gym routine. maybe I don't know enough about it 1
Onyxmage Posted August 18 Posted August 18 I did and I lost 40 pounds. Im still doing it to some extent but ive reached my goal weight so now im trying to eat smaller meals while maintaining my weight. 1
MardinBeksloy Posted August 18 Posted August 18 I was depressed a few months back after parted ways with my boyfriend and I started IF. It's been 4 months now and not only did I lost 14kg, I stopped my late night cravings, lost belly fat, and felt so much better mentally. Life changing indeed! 3
Bosque Posted August 18 Posted August 18 No, I prefer to have many small meals over the course of the day, and I almost never feel hungry. No idea how people manage to go like 8 hours without eating. But different things work for different people. 1
modeblock Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Yes, it's incredible. Combined with low-sugar diet WHEW! get ready to lose weight and feel ******* amazing! I love it so much. Also, look up autophagy - she's THAT girl 1
MattieB Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Yes, thats what im doing now. Started in 2016 and lost 65 pounds in 5 months I do it in conjunction with a caloric deficit of 1500 per day 1
MasterExpose Posted August 19 Posted August 19 No. Lowered my overall BF to 9% eating 8 times a day, it all depends on what you esting and how much you move.
