Lagerfeld Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Both ladies are known as ARTISTS who share their art with the world. Charli's innovation and Taylor's songwriting abilities are their most notable talent. But who is the more talented overall?
shookspeare Posted August 16 Posted August 16 The one with with 365 on her album I'm beginning to think folkmore was a fluke 4
latingrl2005 Posted August 16 Posted August 16 (edited) Does it matter? People are free to support who they want. I mean Katy was the hugest star a one point, was she really more talented than Lady Gaga? One hit ablum or summer does not making for long lasting careers. Edited August 16 by latingrl2005 1
laqqinq Posted August 16 Posted August 16 These Charli-Taylor, Charli-Chappell, Charli-Katy threads MY GOD nnnnnathbsryiokbxswdf 1

truthteller Posted August 16 Posted August 16 charli can pull off shake it off but taylor cannot pull off vroom vroom 2
alfonso12 Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Charli's artistic vision for doing music that has avant garde beats but it's still easy to consume thanks to her catchy hooks is something all the pop stars can only wish for tbh. And she's a better performer as well.
ttsmu Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Charli of course. I rather hear a goat crying than Taylor's voice.
sweetkiss Posted August 16 Posted August 16 this is tough because they both give "same" amount of talent, however i voted taylor even though i like charlixcx a lot but her music is copy/paste a lot of 80s songs. she didnt bring anything NEW to the table and lyrics are somewhat basic. stage presence and charisma also nothing to write home about. taylor while also didnt bring anything NEW to the table showed to be able to go outside of her box. charli xcx is yet to do that. 1 1

I've seen many artists come and go and Taylor's still here. Everything theres a new flavor of the month, Taylor's career gets questioned and again, Taylor is still here. That's my answer.

The lady that's been a staple of fringe pop for a decade is no flavor of the month, she's even outlasted her peers in that realm (like Grimes) 1

That's nice, but the same could be said of movie directors like Michael Bay or actors like Adam Sandler. Longevity ≠ quality or talent. I realize it's tempting to think of the universe as just in that way but that's simply not the case. 1

You really believe she will be selling stadiums soon?
no_better Posted August 16 Posted August 16 This is immeasurable. Still, in the past I would have said Taylor although I ADORE Charli and her music. But Taylor ruined her own legacy with Midnights onward
Shimenawa Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Idk. They are both limited vocally. Charli coudn't make an album like Folklore and Taylor cannot pull off a Brat.

No one here ever thought Taylor would outlive Lady Gaga or Katy at one point, but here we are. I've been a fan from day 1 and remember adele, megan, cardi and many more also put again Taylor and she's still on top.
