Charli's artistic vision for doing music that has avant garde beats but it's still easy to consume thanks to her catchy hooks is something all the pop stars can only wish for tbh.

 

And she's a better performer as well.

this is tough because they both give "same" amount of talent, however i voted taylor even though i like charlixcx a lot but her music is copy/paste a lot of 80s songs. she didnt bring anything NEW to the table and lyrics are somewhat basic. stage presence and charisma also nothing to write home about. taylor while also didnt bring anything NEW to the table showed to be able to go outside of her box. charli xcx is yet to do that.

Ive been on this forum a very, very long time. I've seen many artists come and go and Taylor's still here. Everything theres a new flavor of the month, Taylor's career gets questioned and again, Taylor is still here. That's my answer.

How is Charli a flavor of the month?  

 

The lady that's been a staple of fringe pop for a decade is no flavor of the month, she's even outlasted her peers in that realm (like Grimes)

That's nice, but the same could be said of movie directors like Michael Bay or actors like Adam Sandler. Longevity ≠ quality or talent. I realize it's tempting to think of the universe as just in that way but that's simply not the case.

Still, in the past I would have said Taylor although I ADORE Charli and her music. But Taylor ruined her own legacy with Midnights onward

Idk. They are both limited vocally. Charli coudn't make an album like Folklore and Taylor cannot pull off a Brat.

No one here ever thought Taylor would outlive Lady Gaga or Katy at one point, but here we are. I've been a fan from day 1 and remember adele, megan, cardi and many more also put again Taylor and she's still on top.
