Jotham Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) I had the video playing in another tab and I flinched when she went "OOOOON" again at 6:40 Edited August 14 by Jotham 2
Loca Posted August 14 Posted August 14 @Kukai what are your thoughts, if you don't mind me asking? 12
Mikeymoonshine Posted August 14 Posted August 14 She's hilarious looks like her vocal chords just said "no not tonight". It's difficult to hit notes like that all the time even for a great singer. 1
DevilsRollTheDice Posted August 14 Posted August 14 She has butchered this live so many times, I don't understand why she doesn't take it down a couple of semitones. 3 1 1
Curaga Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) I would be surprised if I saw an artist retry only a part of a song like that (and so many times too ). I feel like it would have been more professional to accept the 1st flat note and move on, but maybe this is what her audience expects/enjoys/relates to? Edited August 14 by Curaga 3
JohnCrawford Posted August 14 Posted August 14 she used to screw up hight notes even in 2004. Her technique is terrible 1
popmusicisdead Posted August 14 Posted August 14 she sounded terrible even on the record. idk what y'all were expecting 1

glitch Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I don't understand why she always sings like that. Making that short "a" sound is rarely going to come out well. She should try a longer "a" like the one in car or an "oh" sound so it doesn't sound as harsh. 4
