Lore

The Ballot Box thrashes upon the stone surface, unable to escape.

The altar emits a heinous glow, covering the area in a sea of blood red light.

The survivors decide to wait it out, they just had to see what happens next.

 

A mystical force levitates the metal contraption .

Hovering in place, the Box screeches its final unearthly scream.

Before all went silent. The red glow flicking back to the old dark forest.

 

With an crash, the Ballot Box hits the altar. Stumbling down the mason steps.

The screws and welds holding it together, now lie broken and scrapped.

The survivors flee from the scene, scared and confused.

Leaving behind the now desecrated body of the Ballot Box.

Thanks for waiting to hear from me before you vote! 

 

I wanted to have the vote public because it helps to see patterns more. I think we've been on a hot streak but we accidentally voted Khalyan out who was a camper. Maybe that could have been avoided if we had a longer chance for discussion.

 

The last vote we had before voting went private helped to give more insight

:( I do see two votes for me. i'm pretty much an open book but i haven't had a chance to talk to orange or kern throughout the game. 

 

the campers who ive talked to more throughout the game have been wrongfully eliminated (britt/khalyan) or killed (lemon/richelle). so i kinda just feel like an odd one out with nothing to go off since the ballots have been anonymous 

 

i've always had a slight suspicion of odd who we haven't heard from in a while but besides that i'm just a little lost

It has been brought to my attention on the factor of Votes during Public Voting so lemme state the answer here publicly  

 

Since its now Public, Players can indeed change their Vote as its basically an open discussion. HOWEVER once the Deadline hits, votes are locked. 
 

When that deadline hits, I take the most recently updated from each Player, remove Slasher Votes, then apply item/role effects etc, until and Final Result is made.

If I see a misconception of a how gameplay or a rule is played out, ill clarify it. Just ask @Lemon and their 100 million questions. Or Galah's misinterpretation of how early voting worked on the previous page.

Ghost is a role in OG Slasher. But its exactly what you think it is.

 

Players eliminated are converted to the Ghost role. They can commune with other players and thats it. No voting or anything else. So kinda boring but if the Slasher game has Seances or any other thing that causes Resurrections, the role is slightly better.

Omg, that sounds good though.
Add it, it is not too late. 

A batch of  new million questions gestated up to this point too. 
 

However, ghost should be able to post a one word clue in the thread each round (no names or anything) to make it less boring.

If i do a mini Slasher season again, I may do additional roles (Security Guard, Reporter, Ghost etc). But Id host it through Discord because Atrl Servers are having severe mood swings.
