Josh Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Since the success of this song all of her pop songs have been trying to re-create it and comes across as mid (except for This is Acting which is a great pop album)
The7thStranger Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Sia peaked creatively with that song at the end of Six Feet Under.
Gorjesspazze9 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 No. Her swing from the chandelier was her peak. Tho I hear that annoying unstoppable song almost everyday on the radio at work
frankvert Posted August 13 Posted August 13 She peaked with 1000 Forms of Fear, one of the most inventive pop albums of the 2010s 1
sneakyishere Posted August 13 Posted August 13 (edited) No, she peaked with hers and Arca's Born Yesterday Edited August 13 by sneakyishere

JoeAg Posted August 13 Posted August 13 honestly 1000FoF WAS her artistic peak like I know a lot of stans kinda dropped ship when We Are Born was significantly more upbeat and synthesized than everything that came before it, but if we're talking the perfect confluence of creativity and pure melodic mastery, sans sacrificing what CAN make a hit, 1000 Forms of Fear is very obviously the synthesis of what made Sia so f*cking special! she was a newly spotlighted collaborator for Xtina then a week later she dropped her own (excellent) pop album, then it was only up from there for a bit, and she became an international hitmaker as a collaborator with Titanium and Diamonds and Wild Ones… and then she had ONE chance to really prove herself as a fantastic solo artist who could stand completely on her own and she knocked it out of the park in 2014, which was just perfect timing in every way. This Is Acting was a cute moment too, and it's definitely got its fair share of discography highlights, but it was the beginning of the end for her because she realized that her biggest hits were mostly a certain strain of empowerment anthem, and since then she has SEEMED (obviously I don't know her, I'm just judging on her output ever since 2017) to be hellbent on replicating that success with increasingly tedious rehashes of Unstoppable and The Greatest lol but yeah! her discography from 2001-2016 is hit after hit, with 1000 Forms of Fear being her at her most fearlessly (love the irony!) and elegantly creative

Mr. Stratus Posted August 13 Posted August 13 lol not the gays trying to define Sia's peak to like her first era like their fad faves both P!nk and Sia are longevity legends, they've had many peaks
