Every year there's pretty much a pop girl who dominates pop culture & all conversations about it. 2020 was Taylor, 2021 was Olivia, 2022 Beyonce/Rosalia (?), and 2023 once again belonged to Taylor. Who would you say is the IT girl of 2024 so far?

Is it Chappell who's been making waves with her debut released nearly a year ago? Charli who's latest album BRAT has gone viral practically everywhere? Sabrina who's had 2 huge mega smashes with Please x3 and arguably the biggest song of the year with Espresso? Billie who has been pulling insane numbers with HMHAS & Guess (Remix)? Taylor who has pulled insane numbers with TTPD? Or someone else entirely?

I feel like Chappel hasn't reached her full potential yet. Whenever her next album drops there's no doubt she'll explode.

 

But for now it feels like pop culture is being dominated by Charli/Billie. It's really a toss up. Feels like these two are eclipsing the other girls right now in viralness, iconic moments, acclaim, and sheer presence. 

 

Curious if Sabrina's new album will drive the conversation back to her because she was definitely having a moment with Espresso/PPP.

i mean.. every advertisement is brat green, iconic, a roll out that will forever be remembered in pop culture, a movement. Girls wish they had THAT AND a 96% on Metacritic. It's hard pushing the envelope and having fun with it, she's making it look so effortless and authentic
