Shakira is selling tickets at $1000+ at the back of the arena floor. Longevity is what truly matter so you should not try Shakira. She's basically the main pop girl (Karol G is not one) with the longest career span other than Madonna. She does not need to prove anything and delusional Karol G fans should stop trying to lift up Karol because they are 1000000 miles far. Karol G's success is very limited within Spanish speaking communities. She has spent 0 day on Spotify Artists Chart in the UK, Australia and Brazil, and only 11 days in Germany. Shakira is the best selling Latina in UK, Brazil and Australia. One of the top 10 best selling female artists of all time in Germany. That's the difference. So no matter how many Spanish speakers attended Karol G's shows in Germany or the UK, Karol G is still nowhere close to Shakira. Didn't Karol G release way more singles (and collabs) than Shakira in recent years? She's at her peak so that makes sense. However, she's nowhere close to Shakira overall. Whenever Wherever, Hips Don't Lie, Waka Waka, She Wolf, La Tortura are all-time classics. Karol G has no songs matches these classics. 1
