Hidden Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I went to a Bruno Mars concert just recently and the whole stadium, including me, was singing this song at the top of their lungs. And he didn't sing Gaga's part 4
Aston Martin Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Midweek predictions have the song staying at its peak again (#2) The way the #1 would've been way more competitive if the physicals shipped and digital versions were released this week I'm holding onto hope that there's a sliver of a chance that the song's stability on streaming and pure sales (and growth on radio) will allow it to sneak a #1 just before the Christmas freeze goes into full effect or right after it ends. 3

More than half of the top 10(or even 12) being songs over 25 wks on charts... it's getting crazier every year how difficult to crack the chart is going to be

If an artist gets a streaming hit that can survive multiple album bombs + slowly climbs up radio, then it's gonna stay in the top 10 for at least half a year now.

Aston Martin Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Today the song spends its 61st day at #1 on Global Spotify + it's 61st day over 10 million filtered streams a day (10,493,352). It's over 800k units above 2nd place.

Aston Martin Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Once again, the days that DWAS has spent at #1 on Global Spotify and the days that DWAS has spent above 10 million filtered streams are the same (64). Other data for DWAS: It will hit 1 billion Spotify streams this month (it's tracking to happen on its 96th day, the fastest of any song on Spotify). The MV is tracking to hit 300 million views this month (it's currently at 280 million and averaging 3.5 million/day). The auto-generated audio is also over 100 million views (104 million). According to Youtube Music, DWAS has 532 million total plays on the platform. It's spent 12 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 so far. It spent 8 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Global 200. Its days above 10 million filtered is twice as high as the 2nd highest song (Flowers - 29 days). 6
Aston Martin Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Also, I looked at TOTC's final predictions each week to see what they estimated DWAS's units to be at. That methodology has DWAS at 2,097,000 units in the US and growing at around 150k units per week.
HardBambi Posted November 11 Posted November 11 In the beginning I said it was a boring ballad now I'm obsessed with it and it's amazing live. Love!

Just a Gay on ATRL Posted November 15 Posted November 15 They need to discount and have them do one more performance on a thanksgiving special or something. Do a late night show performance. SOMETHING. Gracie's ugly song will snatch them first if Mariah/Brenda don't first.

Gracie's song doesn't have enough radio play to be competitive yet but that will change after the Christmas freeze ends. Since airplay is the main thing keeping Bar Song ahead (and it'll be out of reach with December soon approaching) I really hope they can give it a final push on radio, maybe release an extended version to iTunes, and a digital ep of the different versions. Apparently they didn't ship all the vinyls yet either, so I hope they ship those next week too.
