Hurem Posted August 22 Posted August 22 (edited) 7M+ daily streams is more than I ever thought this song would do, but I would really love to see it cross the 8M threshold I wouldn't be surprised if DWAS ends up being the song that doesn't lose many streams on the weekends and that's what pushes it to #1 eventually. SleepNoMore Posted August 22 Posted August 22 I haven't seen a thread with this this article yet so thought I would post. Billboard devoted an article to DWAS's growth, and expects a big debut. Quote: "…the song just keeps growing – by publishing this Wednesday, the song had reached the top of both the Spotify Daily Top Songs USA and the real-time Apple Music charts. (The song has also performed very well in digital song sales, with over 14,000 sold over its first four days of release, as it has stayed atop the iTunes chart for nearly the entire time.)" Not so "shaky" now. Source: https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/lady-gaga-bruno-mars-die-with-a-smile-growing-debut-week-1235758135/amp/ 1
PoisonedIvy Posted August 22 Posted August 22 I thought this meant Dancing w/ a Stranger and I was so confused on if I had missed a late resurgence or something 2 Streaming juggernauts and modern legends did that

Spicy Pisces Posted August 22 Posted August 22 OGH getting ready their "Billboard goes rogue, tries to convince that Gaga still has it. Why?"
Doctor Dick Posted August 22 Posted August 22 (edited) If it keeps performing like this throughout the next week it's a guaranteed #1 on the Hot 100. However, Sabrina Carpenter is releasing and one of the songs could potentially have such large streaming that it could block DWAS. Darn it, if only DWAS was released one week earlier it could've gone #1 probably. Edited August 22 by Doctor Dick
Lightbringer007 Posted August 22 Posted August 22 hope her and bruno are announced as last minute performers at the VMAs!!! 1

Not that I even know what a rolling effect is

Not that I even know what a rolling effect is Depends if the most popular Sabrina song will drop in popularity or just continue gaining. In Sabrina's situation she's such a hot new thing in the industry that I could see it going the Please Please Please route and just keep gaining.
