I wonder about the CD sales. I imagine big numbers
Lord Gaga Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Another number 1 would be great for both of these artists and it would be one of those rare moments of talent winning. Let's hope over the next few weeks it will get done. 1
Hurem Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Second week will bring radio a bit down because of the rolling effect and sales will be a bit lower, but I still believe it's gonna challenge for #1. In week 3 it's gonna be #1 for sure because I don't see the numbers suddenly dropping rapidly and the radio is (hopefully) gonna grow steadily, with A Bar Song losing audience in the meantime.
Sannie Posted August 21 Posted August 21 If this continues its run, we're looking at the winner of Best Pop Group Duo and possibly even SOTY and/or ROTY. It being the newest song released and blowing up right before Grammy deadline and being the kind of "real" sound the voters love... 4

I think BIRDS OF A FEATHER is more likely SOTY winner, while DWAS is more likely to win ROTY
Infernal Paradise Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Once again, the biggest streams increase in Top 10 4 2

The rest of the week I think we will be alright.
Outlaws Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Wondering how Bruno stans feel about him collaborating with Gaga. Are they happy?

Maybe I'm bias, but they've been giving a lot of the generals to Billie over the past couple of years so maybe DWAS has that edge.

I haven't seen any bad reviews on Tiktok, even from those accounts that are just mostly excited at a Bruno comeback. It's mostly "Real Music is back" comments. And then the endless Gaga getting Bruno out of Vegas debt comments on every tiktok lmao. 1

But Die with a smile would be the 4th ROTY winner for Bruno (after Uptown Funk, 24k Magic and Leave the door open). He won everything in the 2022 Grammys so maybe they would think he also has won a lot. Pop duo/group is the only one I think it's 100% locked for them because Fortnight was already a "weak frontrunner".

They gave Taylor her 4th AOTY when SZA released a more acclaimed body of work. And this is a duet which is different. I can see them taking it if the song smashes which seems like what they're going for these days. The song is already loved and acclaimed. If it smashes it definitely gives Gags the edge imo. It already sounds like a timeless classic which is Grammy bait in itself. 4

If this song continues to smash, DWAS will be the frontrunner in every category. Edited August 21 by Darkgalord
Sannie Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Dunno if this is true, but someone said all that's needed is 30k sales for a #1 debut? That doesn't seem impossible.
SharGaga Posted August 21 Posted August 21 7.4M and still growing is absolutely bonkers. Can't wait to see how high it goes in the coming days. 5
