What happened to Ariana's speaking voice?

Am I going nuts or does she sound different and almost animated like? Is this to preserve her voice for the movie?

Auditioning, preparing with a vocal coach and then shooting 2 whole movies as Glinda changed her speech, after all that's mostly a habit that can be molded by many reasons (mostly who you surround yourself with and your day by day until it becomes muscle memory)

Yeah, it's something she does on purpose for vocal health reasons. Many people have been finding out just now this is a thing because of her. It's refreshing to see a singer of her status care about her voice so much.

Also thanks for reminding me I have to watch her Hot Ones episode :clap3:

As the "Wicked" movie was filmed in the U.K. and she spent a lot of time around + interacting with a British film crew she's simply learned to enunciate her voice more and picked up some vocal inflections.

I don't remember, what happened to it?

Maybe she's borderline and has no sense of identity.

Gor it isn't just the voice itself or the pitch. The way she speaks is different, almost like she's covering an accent with an accent aka Madonna in her British era.

Bur I'd imagined the movie role might've affected the way she speaks.
