What do you think? It seems like a lot of people were excited for this release after Woman's World. Not even two hours in, people seem iffy about Lifetimes.

----------

In my opinion, I think Lifetimes sounds uninspired and generic in a very boring way, and it has little replay-ability factor. This isn't even to mention the controversy that Dr. Luke's production will cause yet again

On the other hand...

Walking on Air still sounds FRESH even though its nearly 14 years old. It's got the violins going on in the prechorus, the sweet high vocals that explode in the chorus before the beat drops, and not to mention the bridge with the gospel choir singing behind her right before she sings her heart out. It also fits into the eurodance/piano beats that are pretty on trend now. It's going for that lively 90s beat Lifetimes is trying to achieve.

On top of ALL of that... it is produced by Max Martin.

So, should Katy have considered re-releasing Walking on Air, giving it a MV and break records by smashing with a 10 year old song? Let me know your thoughts below :swing:

just because it's over doesn't mean it's really over. And if I think it over, maybe Walking on Air will be released as Katy's new single again, enough to get her album to chart on the BB H200 again
