To the others, do you still listen to the album, how do you think it has aged over the past decade (it has objectively aged gracefully but let's pretend that we don't know cuz i had to ask somethng)

This was in my top 3 albums of 2014. It has held up immensely well. Let me stream Pendulum and Give Up today  Happy birthday LP1!

I remember buying the CD on release day and annoying my tasteless roommate back in the days by playing it all day over and over.

I still remember vividly waking up at 5am, turning my computer on and randomly finding Two Weeks on a music forum. Changed my life forever. One of the greatest albums of all time.

She has her trial with Shia in LA later this year so I doubt it's coming before 2025

"LP 1" taught me how challenging music can be, but also how highly it rewards you when you are patient and try to get into it. FKA Twigs creates unmatched sound and atmosphere. "Two Weeks" is one of the best songs of all time.

well, I get you relactunce, but back in january she confirmed on discord that the album's coming this year

 

plus, on the 27th of July twigs reposted on her stories, a story of choreographer Zoi Tatopoulos (choreographed tears in the club mv) which included a pic of twigs which was as follows

this is amazing! the production is sometimes a little bit busy/weird/strange for my taste but whatever. Two Weeks is one of the best songs ever. 

 

But overall I like Magdalene and Caprisongs more.

god i remember just listening to this on loop all day on a train through the countryside (idk where tf i was) and just watching the world go by and transcending...

Missed this thread before but WOW what a debut. One of my fave albums.  I feel so old. 

 

Forever angry at her tho for naming it the lazy LP1 and not PREFACE; it was riiiiight there, girl!

 

Pendulum remains my favorite song of hers, and TW, Kicks, and VG still among my faves. The rest I love except Closer, which was dethroned as my most disliked twigs song by Lightbeamers lol

One of the greatest albums of all time! Still sonically stunning and ahead of its time. Truly altered my music palette. Ugh, I wish I could experience it again for the first time
