Brooklyn Baby Posted August 7 Posted August 7 We will never know what fully happened as we are not a part of these celebrities' lives. If what was alleged is true, she does deserve lashings. But did she receive too much hate and was it overblown? What do you think?
Sawk Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Yes, completely. People really think they know what happens between people behind the scenes Like, you don't even know these people 5

Smarticle Posted August 7 Posted August 7 She was hated the right amount. Then she dropped yes, and and wcbf and gagged the haters and people who lived for the drama, including me
aesthetic bih Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I think the hate is expected. But everyone shitting on her so much, but not the same magnitude on SpongeBob is what's weird. It takes two to tango, as they say, but there seems to be a double standard. 1 1
Raichu Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) Yes, the problem was she pissed off chronically online millennial women who were obsessed with the term "girl's girl" at the time. I remember I even saw some tiktoker taking a break from watching her children at a waterpark to make a video about it and was like wow, what are your priorities... The whole fiasco created a mass psychosis of projection from people who are worried that their men will leave them. Edited August 7 by Raichu 4
Bubble Tea Posted August 7 Posted August 7 I never really got why all the hate was levied at her and not at him. Ariana had not made any marriage vows or what not, only he was legally and duty bound. That all being said, everyone's relationships is literally their own business and those involved. Ariana's music and artistry is why we know her and (some of us) like her, everything else is pure intrusion and an invasion of privacy. 1
AvadaKedavra Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) No. Homewreckers from both sides should be held accountable Those who excuse cheating will probably excuse their own cheating one day i think she got sympathy cause there was something really bad goin in her marriage and it shielded her a bit. We cant be friends helped Me as a fan i was really concerned even before the breakup. That guy was not clearly good for her. Her eyes and whole demeanor was sad Edited August 7 by AvadaKedavra 1
GAGAxMONSTER Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Nope. She got what she deserved especially because of the pattern she had shown over the years. But of course, a lot of those hate were from people hating just for the sake of it. It's why the hate has died down significantly. Those people moved on to the next hate train. 1
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Music quality won people back over. The power of GOOD albums! 1 1
badidearight Posted August 7 Posted August 7 absolutely. the hate toward most pop stars is usually overblown and unnecessary. 1
KatyPrismSpirit Posted August 7 Posted August 7 yes. her boyfriend literally already broke up with his previous wife. whats the problem then? but most hate towards female artists is overblown because a lot of entertainment media reeks of misogyny. 1
