Bitter Aging Twink Posted August 6 Posted August 6 When "Woman's World" came out a couple weeks ago, most people correctly predicted that it would debut low on the US Billboard Hot 100 before freefalling in its subsequent weeks on the chart. These predictions turned out to be true, as the single charted somewhere in the 60s or 70s on the Billboard charts (as well as in most Anglophone countries) only to be dropped like a hot potato shortly after. However, one phenomenon that was not expected is that "Woman's World" managed to capture the hearts and minds of one core demographic of the world - the Hispanosphere. Spanish-speakers apparently loved "Woman's World" so much that they sent it straight into the Top 10 of all the following countries: Ecuador, Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras, Uruguay, Panama, Paraguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. Why do you think "Woman's World" spoke to this community so much, and should Katy move to South America to be someplace where she's more deeply loved? Discuss
Popboi. Posted August 6 Posted August 6 All being the radio airplay charts (it was top 10 in UK's too after a week, one of the highest airplay debuts ever there), make a wild guess why 1 9

Digitalism Posted August 6 Posted August 6 airplay charts and I don't even think they are accurate People don't know that song here
BrokenMachine Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Those charts clearly say stuff like 'airplay' or 'anglo airplay' which is far from being official charts, those are just radio charts or specific radio charts for non-spanish music only, which puts the bar even lower
