moondust Posted August 6 Posted August 6 love both, they're two of my favs on the album, but i'm gonna have to go with bodyguard 1
BGKC Posted August 6 Posted August 6 (edited) Tyrant >>> it has so many layers to it and tells an entire story How did you get used to the haunting? (The haunting) The willing, the missing, the wanting (the wanting) Dry eyes, you send me across the divine Hangman, teach me how not to cry How not to cry, how not to cry Bodyguard is nice and easy to listen to. The guitar solo and harmonies towards the end is a highlight on the album. Edited August 6 by BGKC 4
Janet Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Bodyguard has the careless fun timeless feel. Tyrant isn't as cute
The Next Day Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Cowboy Carter Time to strike a match And light up this juke joint 2
Brikenbur Posted August 6 Posted August 6 (edited) BODYGUARD but both are AMAZIING. We're so lucky to stan a quality queen Edited August 6 by Brikenbur 1
KatyPrismSpirit Posted August 6 Posted August 6 TYRANT! It's such a bop, one of Beyoncé's best recent songs for me 1
JonginBey Posted August 6 Posted August 6 BODYGUARD deserves all the hype, but I'm a TYRANT type of gal 1
Ewan Chaos Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I listen to Bodyguard more because it's more "traditional" I guess but I still think Tyrant is better, and really any of the "genre mixing" songs like Ya Ya & Riverdance are the best songs on the album. Only Beyonce could make a fiddle on a trap beat work so well, and have Dolly participate on it nn 1
ICLDXU4HS Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Tyrant is good but extremely overrated. It wishes it was Thique.
BeenThereDoneThat Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Bodyguard is the only song that I really like on Cowboy Carter, the rest is forgettable.
