Popular Post IBeMe Posted August 6 Popular Post Posted August 6 i am officially cocnut pilled. She did this as a major olive branch and outreach to the progressive left like me let's be real. Instead of shunning us she is fully embracing us and is relying on us being FULLY activated now. This is literally the first time an establishment centrist dem has done something like this...I LOVE u queen. Thank you so much! Now everyone fight for her!!!! 18

Ramcoro Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Tim is "only" 60 (one year older than Kamala). But he looks like Biden's age... 1

I dont understand....I will never forgive Biden for holding on for THIS long and not giving Kamala at least a solid like 8 months BUT I am so happy Nancy ****** Pelosi of all people managed to threaten him and convince him to concede eventually! I wish she acted a bit sooner to push him out but she tried to give him time to do it himself but he refused until she scared his ass lmao. Now we get the candidates we deserve! 4

Kamala is already being smeared as unserious because she has such an active young base and the whole Brat summer thing lol but having an older looking white man with a Minnesotan accent helps with that issue. IBeMe Posted August 6 Posted August 6 ok so now that Josh Shapiro was not selected as her vice president (thank God) she needs to still manage to get him to be activated for the campaign and to campaign HARD for her in Pennsylvania. That was literally his only purpose and he can still do that as the governor of that state without being her running mate imo. She just needs to incentivize him to go above and beyond for her and apparently they are friends so hopefully he isnt bitter about all of this and does his best for her lol 4

Meaning they are either to rally the party at the convention, get votes in November (swing states), or help govern in DC come January. I feel like he intended to be a Nov/Jan candidate, but I don't think he really is gonna help in Nov. Sure he is from Minnesota, but do people in Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania really care about that? 1

Sure he is from Minnesota, but do people in Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania really care about that? He has midwestern appeal, which none of the rest of the candidates did (bar Beshear). Shapiro is the PA governor but he would've done more damage than good in Michigan. Mark Kelly's anti-union stances wouldn't have played well in the Rust Belt either. Beshear is better off where he is (and he can prepare for a senate run once his term as governor is up). He also lacks Walz's charisma. And I don't think I need to go into why Pete would've been a bad choice 2
Bethenny Frankel Posted August 7 Posted August 7 the best decision kamala could have done, picking shapiro would have instantly made her lose Michigan. now with walz, she can win Michigan and Pennsylvania. 4

spree Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Walz does not look 82. I think he looks quite perfect for the role. I kinda wish the roles were reversed. 2

PoisonedIvy Posted August 7 Posted August 7 As the main character of ATRL, I actually have faith in the American political machine again. Not by much, but enough to not feel utterly depressed at the idea of our nation's leadership. Suffice to say this ticket has got my vote (as if it was ever at risk of going to the other candidate or party. ) ~ On behalf of the Swifties 1
