BrokenMachine Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Maybe Ian Kirkpatrick and TAP Management weren't that bad at all
IBeMe Posted August 6 Posted August 6 she REALLY messed up this era. The music was promoted wrongly and turned out to be mostly basic and then the era itself is a complete DISASTER. She needs to start working on DL4 tbh...she can't wait it out...one of the worst things is to have people be indifferent or not care at all about your music. In some ways it's better to have a bit of backlash and controversy about the quality of your work then to have people simply not care....Dua PLZ do not milk this era...DL4 needs to come by end of 2025 at the latest... 4

VeniceBeach Posted August 6 Posted August 6 No Lana managers = no songs on Spotify, they are waiting for her call and an apology
Ivan_brit Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Training Season will most likely return today! Dua had been basically doing 0 promo this like for a month, we need a 4th single

wastedpotential Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I've been giving IlluUuUuUuUuUuUusion 20 streams a day for months so it's all on y'all 2 2
Into The Void Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Does it really make u feel better about yourself if she's smashing? I mean that's kinda sad.
babycomeround Posted August 6 Posted August 6 The first two singles and the album didn't match up from the sound to the visuals. The impression I got was the label felt Houdini & Training Season were underperforming and made her change the direction of the album (wasn't she back in the studio earlier this year to finish RO off?) In saying that, These Walls could've been a cute hit. End of summer romance type vibes. It was performing better than some of the singles when the album dropped, so why there's complete radio silence is pretty baffling. 4

xzxcuzxme Posted August 6 Posted August 6 RO fell flat for me as another basic pop girly album. I didn't get the photoshoot, the visuals and the extended album was terrible. It didn't feel personal to her and I couldn't really connect to it on any level. it's an album of radio friendly hits which I personally have outgrown. 2024 has been a great year for music also. However, I can see her still doing well from this album.

If U Seek Amy Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Her live performances have been good. But the music has really left me with no desire to come back much at all. Also, it feels like even she does not care about this era besides good live performances. Unfortunate but I am sure she will swing back around eventually
Dante Silva Posted August 6 Posted August 6 If her team had been TAP they would have maybe dropped a second version of "Houdini" with Megan Thee Stallion that would have set a better tone in the U.S. for the album launch.
babyforlife Posted August 6 Posted August 6 the album was really underwhelmed but the single choice was top notches i don't get it why it flopped
Bookmark99 Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I liked Future Nostalgia but I feel like she could be a fad. She needs a certified smash for her next album. Best move would be to go back to the writing camps.
Funnyfatty Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Idk why but i believe she will get at least 2 huge hits out of it. The album is GOOD. Illusion and Falling Forever are also good. 3

At least she made history as the only artist with a Drake collab that charted nowhere. That's a record for something 5
