From the top of my head: Mrs. Doubtfire Ever After Uncle Buck Sister Act (1 and 2 but mostly 2) Pretty much any Studio Ghibli film Also I find end of the world situations comforting for some reason so movies like 2012 and The Day After Tomorrow "cheers" me up as well lol 1
