Erreur2 La Nature Posted August 2 Posted August 2 I was hoping for a new stupid thread and wasn't disappointed
holyground13 Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Y'all are being so mean - I don't think Fever and In The Zone sound that alike but there's similarities for sure. Britney and Kylie's approach to singing is quite similar as they sing very breathy, so that's how Breathe On Me and Fragile sound similar. I think Breathe On Me was written with Kylie in mind. I guess the synths and mid tempo disco vibe resemble each other, and the albums are only two years apart. Also another connection is that each of the albums' biggest single was written by the same person (Cathy Dennis - Can't Get You... and Toxic). Toxic was originally offered to Kylie too. Britney and Kylie generally have a very similar sound as they both are known for lighthearted fun and sexy dance-pop songs.
Khal Posted August 2 Posted August 2 I also noticed the same when I was listening to Impossible Princess and Britney Jean. 1
Gabers05 Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Don't think they sound similar imo but both are 2 great albums by each of them but don't hear the similarities myself.
