It's terrifying how dangerous this "trend" of transvestigation is. A throwback to the days of the one-drop rule and justification for hate crimes.

She won the match against the hungarian and burst into tears at the end. I got emotional, can't imagine how awful it must have been these days for her. Powerful people calling her a man, insulting, saying she ain't a woman because ugle/structure of a man. I Really hope there's someone following her near because people can't overcome all of this alone.

I'm getting tired of this. Powerful and influential people like Rowling and Musk spreading lies like thisshould be investigated. They need to get punished.

The video of her proud father bigging her up & describing her as the perfect image of a strong Algerian woman, really touched me. It's so despicable he literally had to pull out her birth certificate.

Not only are those scum transphobic, but this is deeply rooted in racism & accusations like this have been hurled at many women of color who excel.

Does she have any legal grounds to sue people like JK Rowling and Elon Musk? Because how is this not defamation? They're literally affecting this woman's safety not just in her own country Algeria, which is extremely religious, but also just put a target on this woman's head. It's sad that they only started this **** rumor because a shitty Russian guy who led IBA was mad about Imane beating an undefeated Russian boxer and they also singled out a female Taiwanese boxer.

Is it really true that the Italian boxer will get $50K as a compensation? If that's true, there's really something wrong with theolympics then.

That Italian President, Elon and Trump must also be held accountable for racism and homophobia. Whether  Iman is transgender or not, that doesn't matter because there are also straight women who can be more masculine than some men. The problem is that the Italian boxer is not competent enough for this sport. Ah the stupidity!! Imagine getting 50k $ for being incompetent :priceless: I really hope that ain't true

I need France to take this **** to EU (who already has a case investigating Twitter) because of the amount of smearing, damage and threats I've seen over numerous people (first the people in the Eurodance scene, then people at the pride house and now this) at the Paris Olympics is insane.

This would barely get traction only 2 years ago; this app has become the first place to harass people and spread misinformation (especially minorities) with 0 repercussions. We're seeing this rn in England as riots targeting mosques over misinformation about a recent crime, when is the crackdown going to

happen?

Doesn't twittter have a note on posted that may be misinformation?

The most amusing part of this is conservatives posting pics of her looking "manly," thus inadvertently admitting that gender is not biological but based on how individuals express themselves.

This is exactly why Elon bought Twitter, to turn it into the cesspool it is right now. There are no mistakes into spreading right wing leaning fake news into his social media, that's where his ideals are, and also he knows there's a big market to capitalize off about that stuff. He is outright evil and deserves absolutely no compassion about anything

Their rhetoric keeps changing but it will always fall into attacking anything that is not white, straight or from a western country

Sometimes. But when it's their owner Elon Musk the one posting that misinformation, well, what can I say

i'm so proud of her. Literally she is the definition of a hero. She's going to go down in history for having had the worst smear campaign ever and overcoming it AND winning the gold!
