thatsmydemi Posted August 18 Posted August 18 MX Spotify: 16/08: 135. Chula 256,182 (DEBUT) 17/08: 175. Chula: 226,720 (-40) Looks like a big drop in positions but not really in actual numbers. It did 252k yesterday so it only lost 30k streams. The songs in that range are all too close so dropping a few streams will result in dropping a lot of positions.
thatsmydemi Posted August 18 Posted August 18 On other news, the audio has already surpassed 6.3k videos on tiktok

If it can stay stable at 500K+ daily it can rise eventually if it gains traction in Latin America over the coming weeks
Freakshowvato Posted August 18 Author Posted August 18 Make sure y'all are streaming this regional Mexican collab so it turns into a party staple! It's not where we're at now, it's where we can go. We need stability
Flovatic Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Spotify streams 08/16/24: 672,440 (debut) 08/17/24: 485,514 (1,157,954 total) it doesn't look bad tbh

The fact that they kept posting videos on tiktok and now they are acting like nothing's out
Selegend Posted August 19 Posted August 19 well in a more positive note it's the first song i heard any friend of mine commenting about it since idk maybe her 2020-21 releases? so there's that! she's been doing a great job with her rebrand on social media. but she's for sureee needs more exposure 2023 VMA's was the first time people talked about her in a long time and she didn't keep it. 1

For Demi to reach that level of exposure again, the song would need to go super viral or grow organically to the point that her label can't ignore it. She will never have that kind of push ever again unless one of those two things happens. To be honest, I still don't know how they were able to book her a VMAs slot during Revamped. I think that the strategy they are following with her rebrand is to keep a low public profile, not getting involved in scandals and making random appearances or working with random people so that her fans get fed even if nobody asked for those collabs. I guess in the meanwhile they also hope for one of those collabs to go viral or something but it hasn't happened yet. On a positive note, Grupo Firme is by far the biggest collab she's booked since 2020. 3
thatsmydemi Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Up +11 on Spotify MX... expected a bit better. This is going nowhere probably.
Freakshowvato Posted August 20 Author Posted August 20 I am more positive. It rose again and I did not expect much from the gate What needs to happen now: Mexican radio needs to explode this and it needs to rise organically across Latin America.
Freakshowvato Posted August 20 Author Posted August 20 Many of these collabs do not start off as hits. Even look at Calm Down (the Selena version), it was virtually nothing before it exploded. Side projects are not going to be hits over night. If it can stay stable for another week and then rise somehow with a catalyst, then we are in good shape 1

It needs some push... maybe we'll see some positive effect after they perform again in two days?

Ariana was the last big thing she's booked and I doubt it was hard for her because of Scooter and their friendship. Edit: nvm the album was released in 2021. I meant 2021 then lol.
