Distantconstellation Posted July 30 Posted July 30 People here were saying it was gaga going back to her roots.. umm no sorry that sounds nothing like the fame era gaga. Sounds nothing like paparazzi, just dance etc.. had she done that EXACT type of sound then I would agree. I'm still waiting for her to go to that exact sound. Where it was care-free, obsessed with pop culture, accessible to gp but also gays all at once. 4 4
Illuminati Posted July 30 Posted July 30 It was a return in a sense that she made a dance record, no one said she was remaking The Fame (she shouldn't). 2 1

Femalien Posted July 30 Posted July 30 That's over for good that wasn't the real her it was the people around her
JackOfHearts Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Nobody was asking for her to go back to that same sound, and if you're holding your breath waiting for her to basically remake The Fame, you're gonna pass out. Chromatica was a step back in the direction of dance music (coming back from Joanne and ASIB). She's never gonna devolve back to The Fame. I'm sure she sees what that does for certain pop stars of her time that are still clinging to their original eras of music.
JoeAg Posted July 30 Posted July 30 to me the bridge is a bit The Fame/TFMesque, but overall the song is definitely more similar to Born This Way (title track and Scheiße) and Applause

I smiled because you made it sound like a rant over a song that has just been released 😆 anyway, I think stupid love is immensely bland compared to TF/TFM, this is almost undebatable. I guess she wanted to part with Redone to create something different... which is basically the basic version of what she used to make ahah but with ASIB she delivered and gave us something amazing and different, so I think GaGa will surprise us once again, we should trust ha!

I know but I want the fame gaga back..the fame monster to me is completely different. The fame gaga is the gaga everyone loved.
Erreur2 La Nature Posted July 30 Posted July 30 I don't think I've ever seen anyone comparing it to her TF sound ? Lol
MadMax12 Posted July 31 Posted July 31 She had the best producers with her debut. The production is much fuller, layered and punchy. Everything after that is really compressed and crunchy. Andrew Watt will do good with LG7 though I hope
