I was wondering when the token gay was coming after the abundance of straight men.  First impression of the cast is it's fine. They have the potential to be an interesting mix, it's clear they've thrown in a few people that have the potential to clash as they've ticked a good few boxes of people who would have opposing opinions in a debate/argument but the lack of an older presence is missing. I know Emma is 53, but having her be the oldest by an 18 year gap is weird. And despite her age, she seems like the kind of person who's still chasing her 20's. (Not that that's a problem though!) But I struggle to believe everyone who auditioned in their 40's was too bland to get on.

 

I did enjoy the launch night twist though, it'll be interesting to see how they switch it up going forward in the week since I doubt all 11 people will stay in storage/nominated as time goes on.

Interesting mix of personalities. I like Hannah but she's giving first boot vibes, the entertaining housemate who brings conflict is always out first

 

I'm very intrigued by Ali and Izaaz, definitely the more reserved personalities who will unravel as the days go on

 

I hope to god all those girls are just excited because it's launch night, if they don't have off switches they will get on my nerves QUICK

 

Idc what you all say about the straights, as long as these lads aren't boring and bring the drama they claim they will I am going to live for the tension they'll cause

Lowest ever ratings and this is SO down to ITV not even promoting the show until 3 days before!

 

Hoping it stays safe.

 

However, this does not include the ITVX streams so it is likely to be higher.

As far as second episodes go, this was iconic tbh. Lily is giving Channel 4 chaos in the best way even if it seems she's just trying ANYTHING to become a meme and end up on the Hun pages and be Nikki Grahame's successor.

The casting is interesting... I like 5 or 6 of them. Ryan needs to go.

 

I was a rehearsal housemate back in 2013 (ie. I went through 7 rounds of auditions / interviews / camera tests / psyc evals) and was just shy of becoming a housemate. So me and 9 others got to move in a week before the launch and basically do a 6 days BBUK speed round with no evictions. Still did challenges, diary room chats, had drama etc. It was all filmed and edited together so production could test out camera angles and the challenges, but was never aired.

 

Would LOVE to see the footage, but equally all 9 of the people I was with made incredible TV. ITV have kind of lost the plot.
