I didn't agree with Ali about the whole Khaled thing, but she spilled last night about Marcello, and I agree with her about the Rosie/Nathan romance too, there's something about the vibe that is off.

 

Also baffled at how Rosie and Nathan talk to each other as if the fact they like each other is the worst thing to ever happen in the world, a strange dynamic for a blossoming new relationship  They act like it's a disaster that everybody knows but the only reason we know is because you told us

I didn't realise just how obsessed Ali actually is with Khaled. It's more than just a petty one-sided grudge on her part, it's an actual obsession at this point. That rant was clearly something she has spent nearly every waking moment rehearsing in her mind since last week. It's giving unhinged.

Ali thinks she is always right.  Khaled has some patience because I would be going off

Segun calling Ali a red witch and Hannah calling her in a charlatan while plotting to nominate her (meaning BB will read that conversation out to the entire house).

This group of people are some of the worst with rule breaks, like seriously the last two segments of this episode was just rule breaks all over.  I know it's happening due to the fallout of gameplay, but at this point they need to start bringing proper repercussions in. Give out formal warnings or put repeat offenders up for eviction, because silly cardboard prisons, fake handcuffs and taking away sweets and caffeine is clearly not working lmao.

 

I actually do still agree with Ali about certain aspects of Khaled. He does give me vibes of being the type of person who wants everyone to like him. Also I don't necessarily care for him in the sense he's hardly exciting or even really entertaining to watch as a housemate, but I know there's no way he'll be going on Friday so it is what it is. What I will say is her response to him in tonights episode was probably a little over the top sure, didn't need to turn into her talking about bridges being burned and pointing at cameras telling him that's where he needs to act up to (although that did make me laugh a bit ). But he didn't need to decide to bring anything up to her straight away, either. Especially since he was said he was going to wait anyway.

 

It's a little bit of an old story now anyway and it's probably not so good that it's dragging on now into the 3rd week of the show too, the producers probably want to be able to show other things but when a fight happens it usually takes centrefold. But when it's essentially a repeat of the same argument that happened last week, it's a bit boring.

The way if she'd had left we'd be watching 60 minutes of Marcello sexually harassing girls and Nathan and Rosie awkwardly staring at each other in silence... 

 

Also how on earth is Ali being blamed for the drama when it was Khaled who brought it back up again   where is the critical thinking people? She was so right to call him out.

 

And the fact is if any of them had the power, they'd have immediately put her up with no second thought. In fact I'm sure exactly that will happen next week. But when she does it to them, she's the villain. The hypocrisy is crazy. She has these men so pressed, it's wild.

I would call her out on it too, he had to do that on his own while she had Dean for support, and she was throwing Dean under the bus any chance she got.

I really hope the HOH getting to make Killer noms/save and replace isn't a permanent thing because it's kinda ruining the basic premise of the show  Ali and Dean basically decided between the two of them who'd be up for eviction this week

Ali had a point with Marcello though I thought she didn't express it the right way and again with Khaled we have seen him be fake at least with Izaaz but every time she talks to Khaled she comes off so unreasonable. She takes everything Khaled says as an attack rather than trying to have a conversation with him. It's embarrassing to watch.

 

Dean pretending that they nominated Marcello/Khaled because they could handle it the best was so weak. Funny that they set up a pair to draw the votes and no one else nominated them.

 

I'm glad Hanah's not up but I'm sick of the nominations twists as well. Hoping for Marcello to go but wouldn't mind Izaaz or Nathan either because they're boring/cringe.

I'm sorry but what on Earth was she supposed to say to Khaled about that, he was whining about an incident and an apology which happened literally a week ago .

 

I doubt she even remembers the conversation, she was spot on about him just using this as an opportunity to try to one up her.

 

If Ali was holding onto a grudge like this she'd have everybody calling her deranged but when Khaled does it it's fine apparently. There are so many double standards here.

I'd actually disagree with that particularly, maybe even say it's the other way around. She did let him takeover big decisions, and I'm sure she probably did so hoping he would defend her when things got heated in a fallout, but I'm not sure he actually ever did that. They showed a clip on Late & Live last night (should be on the show tonight) where she's talking to Martha about that and says she doesn't think it's fair she's getting most of, if not all of the slack when it was Dean who wanted to pair Marcello and Khaled together in the first place. You could argue inadvertently he threw her under the bus, since considering she's the centre of most of the drama in the house, as soon as a decision was made to put them up it'd put a target on her back going forward.

i have some time to kill so i'ma explain why i want Ali to stay in..

 

the biggest criticism of the housemates last year was that the drama was such a slow-burner and was over quickly. the pay-off was rarely satisfying. last year we had to sit through SO many boring episodes in order to finally get to the trish/paul/dylan blow-up. 

 

ali reminds me of a classic channel 4 housemate, i think she's not there to intentionally start drama or arguments but situations with her naturally just snowball (typical autism tendency tbh lol) which makes for perfect TV. if she's gone, WHAT exactly are we left with? the romance between BP and Nathan will become the focal point of the show, the same way Jenry became the focal point of last season's after Trish was evicted. i can't sit through another tory romance... it's BORING.

 

y'all can hate her all you want but also make sure to say that she's giving you great TV and when it comes to voting to evict think about what kind of show you want to tune into for the next few weeks, bc we've HAD seasons in the past where it was just one big happy family all the way through, and that was boring as ****!

 

on another level, i think it's insane the level of hate she's getting for what she's actually done. people on all platforms are calling for Marcello, a literal SEX PEST who makes all the women uncomfortable, to win, just to spite Ali, while also calling Ali all names under the sun because she doesn't get along with someone.

 

in yesterday's show, khaled even agreed that it would be best to wait until the next day to have a conversation with her, and then went up to her MINUTES later while she was still crying in order to get his 'gotcha' moment! and bc she gave him the same energy back then stated she wanted nothing to do with him from now on, she's getting called a charlatan and a witch and a group of the housemates are flat-out plotting to evict her next week and audience members are screaming that she's a man-hater on L&L

 

some classic BB moments have been coming up on my tiktok lately and i hate to be part of the 'people are too soft' brigade but honestly... some of this fanbase would go into cardiac arrest if Ali did anything like the housemates did in those days. they were going round throwing water in each others faces, throwing fists, hurling ableist and racist and homophobic slurs... yet in the modern day Ali is a demon for not liking someone.

I'm reporting ITV to Ofcom for the constant Nathan and Baked Potato scenes that we're forced to sit through. Last night was ridiculous. THREE seperate scenes of them awkwardly staring at each other and speaking in half sentences. Is it necessary?

Late & Live was uncomfortable last night, considering Ali's sister was in the audience.  One of the panelists last night said some people have definitely forgot what they've signed up for, or something of that nature, when they were discussing Segun calling Ali "The Red Witch" and Hanah calling her a charlatan. I believe it might have been a mincing of words but they also said something in effect of Lily being killed?  Unsure what context they meant that in. But If I was Ali and found out I'd been called a charlatan by someone I'd known for less than 3 weeks I'd probably pack up and go there and then lmao. I know she had to understand her own consequences signing up for a reality TV show, but her career is obviously quite serious to her and it's pretty insulting. Probably crossing the property line of what's acceptable to say about someone who you only know from playing a game in a literal dolls house.

i read on reddit that on the livestream last night there seemed to be a huge divide in the house, you could apparently cut the tension with a knife. whenever i turned it on tho Ali seemed surrounded by 4 or 5 people all talking with her on her bed while Khalid and Segun were sat together alone across the room.

 

i think when BB reads out what hannah/segun/khalid said about ali in regards to plotting to evict her next week, a lot of HMs are going to start sympathising with Ali

Yeah, I saw that on twitter too. Defos think there'll be a bit more of a divide after the fact and I'm intrigued to see the reaction to that all being played back to the house. Tonights episode will be a mess I'd imagine.

Another thing I'd have to say that yet again is bizarre about the ITV series - what was the point in this task if they're not going to have a double eviction?  Here we are again faced with the fact that on Friday the series will be half way done and they'll have only evicted 3 housemates, meaning over the next 3 weeks afterwards they'll be chucking out 8 people in pretty quick succession. I wish they had found a way to pace the series differently after last year. Every 2nd week have a mid week eviction or maybe start with less housemates or something.
