Erreur2 La Nature Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Some of these have nothing to do in the list. Voted for FN

Girl, that's SZA in my avi not Rih haha I do stan both queens though. SZA's SOS was huge in the anglosphere. Big singles, 10 week #1 in the US, big tour across the world. 1

Here are some points to its credit: An album with a legitimate, organic, multi-week #1 hit in places that country music isn't even very popular It broke several important records, such as earning the FIRST Country #1 by a Black artist, a spot Beyoncé stayed at for TEN weeks before being replaced by her own COWBOY CARTER collaborator Shaboozey who earned SIX more weeks at the top spot. (It's nearly impossible to think he'd have achieved this had the impact of her album not been what it was and he himself credits her for helping him achieve it). Without even having a SINGLE music video, country music videos increased 38% worldwide after the album was released. Her collaborators almost all had huge increases in their streams and interest, getting national/worldwide attention, interviews, appearances, etc. Fashion wise, cowboy boots and hats all had an increased interested through this album rollout etc. It may be a more contained kind of impact, but the kinds of things it achieved in a genre that is so noted to be so racist is HUGE, perhaps the most important/impactful country album creating more discussion and change than a country album has in decades. Sawk Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Future Nostalgia still has commercial artists try to imitate its sound, so I'd go with that.

narid Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Renaissance and Brat should be there, and Chromatica isn't even part of the conversation. Sadly Gaga hasn't released an influential album since after 2011.
freshoutthebuffet Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Out of the choices you gave, I picked MOTOMAMI but I wanted to say
